I realised I was epically wrong on about page 4, I just wanted to see if I could dig myself out; Triggle that last analogy is an embarrassment though :hysterics:

Winner.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Scholes is right in everything he says and has dished out some epic ownage throughout this thread.

I'll use an analogy relating to Elcule's cheating at cards post.

What Keene did was akin to counting the cards in a game of blackjack, it was more like slitting the bloke next to him's throat with the Jack of Clubs, because he's shagged his wife. Is that cheating?
I meant "not akin to counting cards", d'oh! I was a bit stoned last night.

"Steven has a hamstring strain and will be out for a fortnight, while Fernando has torn a cartilage in his right knee. The injury will require surgery and he is expected to be sidelined for six weeks.

"Yossi Benayoun also suffered a fractured rib in the game and will be unavailable for between three and four weeks."

rafa is very smart, he used liverpools great form last season to get himself a big contract renewal and now everything has gone tits up the owners are reluctant to fire him because the huge compensation he will demand...knowing full well their financial troubles.

i love how desperate they were to keep him 6 months ago and how badly they probably want him out now, and they should. it cant get much worse for them right now

That's the end of your hopes to finish in the top four, your three best attacking players gone.

can rafa make it better though?

i dont think rafa can turn things around, i think liverpool need to take a new direction

how long can liverpool afford to be at rock bottom?

thats why i think they might have to get in a new manager, they need to get back on track...quickly. the team/squad/tactics arent working and things need to change fast if they seriously want to get 4th.

Aquilani :laughcry: If he's your third best attacker you're on par with the likes of Stoke and Birmingham.

2- Gerrard
3- MAxi
4- Aqqy
