...I agree with rolling, you're on your own Scholes

So what if I'm 'on my own'? :deepthought:

I don't see how anyone with a fully functioning brain reads my post and doesn't instantly think something along the lines of 'All Giggs does is kick a ball'. It's just such an obvious response, so obvious that I'm beginning to regret making the car comment in the first place. Simple fucking minds.
You miss the point

Haha yeh, all Giggs does is kick a ball. While we're at it, Idowu? All he does is jump ffs.
Lmfao you really are a complete prat. Such a predictable reply.

It wasn't the ball bit I laughed at mate. I laughed at the Phillips Idowu one, all he does is jump, just a funny image/phrase. You didn't even consider that I might have found a different aspect of that post amusing to the 'obvious response' bit you thought of. Simple fucking mind.
Out and out wrongun this kid, of course I considered the jumping part and suspected you may have found that bit particularly amusing, but the general concept stands, and to call that comment amusing and claim it's a good form defies belief. Very low standards indeed.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

And another thing, 'all he does is drive a car', what a ludicrous statement, utterly ignorant, the subtlety and artistic skill involved in driving at that level is astounding, awe inspiring, so show some respect, you've never even stalled a car let alone got close to even understanding the incredible detail involved in good driving. :greatpost:

'It's a good form'. Would you like to tell us all what the fuck that means? I believe I said it was amusing, which was surprising given Zeezoo's recent poor form. That help you at all 'wrong'un'?

You may be booksmart but you're thick as shit when it comes to common sense. My car comment was made tongue-in-cheek and I'm totally aware there's more to F1 than meets the eye, totally aware, not that it bears much relevance to personality of the year.

What the fuck did your first sentence have to do with anything? Why have you made some bold claim and then in the same sentence continued with an unsubstantiated suggestion?

To the second lot, thank god for that.

Question: Does Sports personality of the year actually have anything to do with personality? Is it not just 'Sportsperson of the year'?

You found it amusing and said 'well in ZeeZoo', to a post which was mind-numbingly predictable and lacked any sort of wit whatsoever. I'm also of the opinion that a triple jumper, or whatever type of jumper that bloke is, cannot express himself enough in his given sport to win sports personality of the year.

Pointless debate before this comment, shut up Scholes and Artrun.

But... Scholes does make an interesting point here.

No Rolling, fuck off and do a history essay. Scholes, maybe it was predictable, but that doesn't alter the fact that it made me laugh. You can complain at me laughing at it, but not at the fact that I did. Rolling and Scholes, I get your point, but surely this indictment can be levelled at any athlete - all Dwain does is run while all Steve Backley did was throw. :deepthought:

I apologise if I'm being really thick here, but what's the fucking difference?

The sport matters. Look at Thierry Henry, Lleyton Hewitt, Rafael Nadal, Phil Taylor. All play sports where their personality shines through and their charisma is on show. I don't see how a long-jumper can achieve that, though I suppose it's possible. Similarly F1, but I'm a bit more open to that I suppose.

Erm, well Bolt is a one dimensional athlete, similar to a long jumper, sososososo much personality. Phillips Idowu has crazy crazy hair and is known as abit of a personality on the athletics circuit I think. So we've decided now that SPotY is about personality then rather than just sporting achievement?

No you're not being incredibly thick Scholes, I think I probably worded it poorly. Allow me to elaborate: you can complain that I laughed at something you found obvious, crude and unfunny, but you cannot dispute the fact that I did laugh, and the very fact that I did laugh gives me the justification for praising Zeezoo - whether it was a good joke or not, I still benefitted. :)
