Poof? No. Warrior, winner or battler would have sufficed.

Yes I am, at the age of 26 you have 8 years or so to remain focused and try to make as much as you can out of your career. I wouldn't care if it took until I was 30 until I recovered, if you really loved football you'd do all you can to return to the game, even if it meant going down to a league 1 side because you're now 30 and haven't played for 5 years. It really is a poor attitude to retire at 26, regardless of how much pain or how much hard work it will take.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.

Oh come on, we're all "fucked in later life". What you want, to be able to play a 90 minute match when your 40/50, wtfs that worth to anyone. You play untill you physically can't then your have your rest when your retired. Who gives a fuck how fit you are when your old. Poor show.

Probably would of ruined his leg so that when he was 40/50 he would of hardly been able to walk on it.

I don't mean fitness wise ffs. I can't remember exactly what it was but if he say, potentially wouldn't be able to walk then it's not a poor show at all. Obviously that's an extreme situation as i can't remember what it actually was he was told.

Would you trade a crutch when your 50 for a professional football career? I would..

Yeah...i'm sure it was something like that. Hardly gunna be happy with not walking properly, if at all, for the last 30/40+ years of your life.

"Pain is temporary, losing last forever."
It's actually "Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever" isn't it?

I would too, I'd give anything, obviously Ashton wouldn't, hence why I find his attitude disgusting.
