So many topics I want to make right now but instead of spamming the forum with my wisdom I thought I'd share it with you all in one topic.

Balotelli - Goodness me what a player. Just about the most talented teenager in the world right now, an absolute joy to watch. Everything he does is full of flair and exuberrence, but unlike the traditional flair player he has such power, pace and an explosive nature. His confidence in himself is unreal, in a star studded Inter side he pushes the likes of Sneijder and Eto'o out of the way for free kicks and shoots from 35 yards and scores. A few minutes later, Inter are building the play when the ball is rolling towards him wide on the left wing, instead of making a simple pass he chips the ball up and attempts to volley the ball 70 yards across the pitch to Maicon at RB! Crazy, crazy stuff.

Gilardino - What a striker. One for the purists, but his movement upfront, his instinct in the box, the clinical finishing, it's like watching a young Inzaghi. Quickly showed his credentials at the highest level, he's scoring in the CL, he's impressing everytime he plays for the national side and has firmly secured his ticket to South Africa. Hugely underrated player, things could be about to change though with a world cup coming up and Fiorentina shining in the CL.

The next big thing - Hulk. Wowowow, mark my words, by Sept 2010 Hulk will be playing for a massive club, and not only that, but he'll be the standout player too. Think Messi with strength who explodes on the ball and unleashes lightning bolts of a shot. Everytime he gets the ball he wants to beat man and then either play somebody in or get away a shot, it's frightening as to how good this kid can
become. Hulk by name, Hulk by nature.

Not a word about Adrian Nicki or Eren Derdiyok. Disgrace.

1. Did you see Mourinho's interview on Balotelli? Some naiive English reporter had no clue about him and thought Mourinho had unearthed a gem, Mourinho just spent about 2 minutes slagging off his attitude. World class. Great freekick too - though not as emphatic as Eto'o's finish. :)

I love Gilardino, I still don't know why he failed at Milan, such a talent, should start for Italy.

Winner.

Not into that Hulk chap. Everytime I've seen him play he's been underwhelming and I found myself wondering why the hell he's so highly rated, he just looked like another Amr Zaki to me.

Balotelli's free-kick was fucking great I must admit.
