Scholes uses PL players only. Why was that?

Out of the two, i'd say Scholes looks more solid overall but Wrightys attack is much more potent imo where as Scholes Attack is quite shit. Senna is a class act imo and would do well against Scholes Attack whereas Scholes midfield wouldhave a much tougher time up against the nimble Wrighty midfield. Wrighty gets my vote.
YOU IMBECILIC PIECE OF HORSESHIT DID YOU NOT READ A WORD I SAID IN THAT OTHER THREAD THE TWO TEAMS ARE NOT PLAYING EACH OTHER ARRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

PL players only and my team is amazing, what an achievement.
If there not playing each other then it makes the gulf in class even bigger imo.
HOW THE FUCK DID YOU WORK THAT ONE OUT?!
Im not here to take abuse Scholes, im here to cast my vote and move on. Wrighty will be more then happy to give reasons, and seeing as its his team, i feel he should be the one to justify what i've said.
Mate, I know you're not changing your vote, I'm just perplexed by your deafness and now your latest comment...how does that make the gulf in class bigger?!

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

As for your midfield DaG, you have no physical presence, not a huge amount of posistional sense, no height and no fight, that's why it's shit.
Err, the same applies to Xavi-Iniesta-Busquets, Barca's 1st choice midfield, the current best in the world. Senna and Hleb not a huge amount of positional sense? No fight? This kid's not see either player.

Vote against my team all you want, but please make coherent arguments and stop guessing or basing your opinion on what you hear regurgitated in English tabloids.
You do realise you've just said Xavi and Iniesta have little positional sense?

Senna does, i was discounting him tbh and simply talking about Benayoun and Hleb, despite the fact he's becoming decrepid and ponderous. Hleb and Benayoun have no fight, the former gave up about 3 months into his Barca career.

You're also forgetting that Xavi and Iniesta are two of the four best players in the world and that Benayoun and Hleb are absolute nobodies; it's like picking Andy Carroll because he has a similar style of play to Didier Drogba.

1. I was referring to the height/power argument, in which there is no difference between my team and Barca first choice.
2. How the fuck do Benayoun and Hleb have no fight lol? Two of the scrapiest and industrious players you will find that never give up. Hleb put the CL Final on a fucking plate for Hnery who bottled. The kid ran his fucking guts out.
3. Andy Carroll does not have a similar style to Didier Drogba.

Your team looks solid enough, but ultimately i can see it being rather stale and lacking that cutting edge or something special to do well over the course of a season. Look at the attacking players you have in your side, and and look at the clubs they play for in real life (bar malouda)and it makes sense to see why i cant imagine them being on fire. Wrighty's on the other hand has attacking threats in abundance and you'd be hard pressed to see many sides stopping them from banging the goals in every week. Your team on the other hand doesnt pose such a threat. So on a 1v1 basis your side could well stifle wrighty's and win the match, but if you want to look at it in a perspective of a whole season then it just makes it an even bigger case for Wrightys team to get my vote, for reasons stated before.

Yes.
how on earth can you say Hleb or Benayon are able replacements for Marchisio let alone Iniesta. your either desperate to win a losing battle or your crumble is short rhubarb
Err, are you remedial? Iniesta is a close control wizard who is great in possession and brilliant positionally. Benayoun and Hleb are the same exact player, just not as good but very good none the less.
Hleb is brilliant with the ball at his feet but that's about it. would be useful if your defending a one goal lead in injury time and he's not as quick or creative like Iniesta going forward. Benayon is good going forward and that's about it i would say. offers nothing defensive from that midfield role

1. Hleb is a more creative passer than Iniesta. Tries a lot more things. Not as quick going forward or as good off the ball, you're right.
2. Benayoun is fantastic defensively, presses non stop.

1. This is the midfield that, without Touré, was absolutely fucking steamrollered at Stamford Bridge, and strangely enough, dominant with Touré vs Chelsea at Camp Nou. Don't tell me height and physical presence have nothing to do with football, because they do. Barca are lucky we don't play in a league with physically stronger midfields, otherwise the need for Touré would be even more pressing (why do you think he starts every European game?).

2. You're talking about the Hleb of 3 years ago mate, I'm talking last season; he had no fight. Couldn't cut it in a big team.

3. Yes he does, not exactly the same, but similar. Don't even try to debate that, I watch them nearly every week and something tells me The Championship isn't high on your watch list.

Benayoun is not defensively fantastic. Can't be trusted to play CM for us, if he could a lot of our problems this season would have been solved.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.

1. How the fuck were Barca steam rolled? Check out the possession stats mate, no way in hell were Barca 'steamrolled'. Barca's problem was in the final third.
2. 3 years ago? Its one and a half mate, and he's not changed anyway. Been putting in fantastic CL performances for Stuttgart.
3. What is Andy Carroll's playing style? What is Drogba's? I'd really love to hear what you say lol.

So how Rafa fucking Bentiez picks his team is an indication of how I should? Liverpool must be winning everything this season :hysterics:

Oh, and Paddy, Liverpool play a 2 man CM, I'm playing 3. You do know that Liverpool play 4231 right? You do know that Benayoun is naturally a central player right?
