Erm.
Ooooooooooh. People have already said the reasons why I think Erms team is better so I dont really think I need to say them. Dont go in a fucking strop because your team is losing.

Sperm's team is pretty solid, a neat 4-4-2 formation, nothing spectacular. Evans is a class player but his centre-back partnership is very slow, and his choice of RB is astonishing. Definitely weak-links in this team.

The same has to be said for Rolling's team with regards to defensive frailties, with odd picks on Hangeland and in-particular Zhirkov at LB - Bizarre.

The pick of RVN was unnecessary and puts more emphasis on Messi's defensive game, though the fact he has Messi is definitely a major weapon he possesses.

Both teams have weaknesses, both good teams though not great, but Sperm edges it I reckon, his system is more convincing and his personnel are marginally better.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Evans isn't quick but he's hardly the slowest. Evans and Vidic (who is also slow) have produced various fantastic performances in the last year when Rio has been crocked. So pace isn't a definite requirement, more a bonus. Their ability to read the game and totally boss oponents (particularly Cannavaro) more than makes up for the lack of pace. Terry and Vidic are rated as potentially the two best CB's in the world. Both are far from quick. So that isn't a big problem at all.

My team has almost everything to be honest. It has:

1. A world class goalkeeper.
2. One world class centre back and one potentially world class.
3. The best winger in the world (not including Ronaldo and Messi) and another top player in Mata to supply crosses to two world class strikers who are, as Ant said, unbelievable finishers. The winger would also chip in with a fair amount of goals themselves.
4. Although not the flashiest, Barry is a very solid player who has become a regular starter for England and a City side who are aiming high. He fulfils his defensive duties brilliantly whilst also providing some brilliant passing going forward. Very good player who allows me to get the best out of my wingers.
5. Monolivo will do his job defensively, whilst also contributing to attacks with a great range of passing.
6. The strikers don't even need a mention, but they'll get one anyway. Two world class attackers who finish for fun. Just one of them would be a nightmare for defenders, so combined they would make even the best CB's cry.
7. Now the only two probably weak links. Aurelio, although far from world class, isn't as bad as some people have made out since he was picked. He was highly rated for Liverpool before he was injured, and has put in some very good performances for them since coming to the club. Can get forward very well and is also good defensively. Would link up well with Mata. He also has a very good shot on him for a defender.
8. Santon is the other. Again though i don't think he's a terrible pick. For those who haven't seen much of him, they may remember him looking very impressive against United last season in the CL. He's regarded as a brilliant prospect for the future and, as with Aurelio, provides good ability both defensively and going forward.

A better team than i think i am getting credit for...and definitely the better side in this tie.

:hysterics: What an idiot, still doesn't realise it! :hysterics:

Anyways, Lloris as World class? Fantastic keeper, I don't know how much of him you watch for France/or Lyon but there are about 8 other goalkeepers around the world better than him so how that makes him world class defies me. World class CB? Cannavaro I presume? He isn't even the best CB at Juve, let alone one of the best in the World. And Forlan is not world-class, I don't find Fabiano world class either but tbf that's debatable.
