I tell you what I really used to like smacking, those small bouncy balls you used to get. I remember hitting them with a tennis racket on a few occasions as hard as I could and my goodness they travel a long way, out and out Tigerwoods.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Probably marginally smaller if I was lauching them with a racket.

Yes totally agree. The highlight of my Tuesday evenings following swimming lessons as an 8-year old would be found in the purchase of these 20p bouncy balls. We used to play cricket with them too and my word they would hurt if you got smacked by one.

I tell you what goes quite a long way as well when you hit them with a tennis racket, fur cones.

I tell you what I also used to love doing, shoving great piles of freshly cut grass up exhaust pipes.

Hahahaha yeah I used to love smashing small apples and stones from the front garden with a tennis racket and seeing how far across the grounds I could get them, amazing stuff.

Wow never tried that, but me and my mate Tom used to smack conkers into our neighbours garden with cricket bats/tennis racquets. The damage we did was unprecedented.

Haha omg, me and my mate Tom used to launch conkers at his neighbour's greenhouse. She was 93, no joke.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.

Could've been believable had the word "mate" not been included...

Haha this reminiscing is absolutely amazing, listen to this piece of craft right. It was our mate's birthday soon and my mate bought him a pack of powerpods (3 in a pack) that we used to collect when we were about 10, and we executed this cunning plan where we opened the pack, took out the powerpods and replaced them with the common duplicates we had like Neil Lennon and Alan Stubbs and then sealed the pack back up. Absolutely criminal.

I remember going to Didsbury Park with a few golf clubs as a mid to late teen and we were just chipping the ball around 100 yards or so but I really fancied smashing one hard so I got a tee out and the driver and wellied it so hard, the ball went much further than I thought I could possibly hit it and went towards the houses, few seconds later we heard a smash and I'd put the golf ball through the poor bloke's greenhouse. Lobbed the clubs in a bush and ran home, went back to collect them a few hours later. Can't wait for summer.
