Arsenal should secure a 6 month loan deal for RVN, would be perfect.
Yeah, we need someone to keep RvP company since Rosicky seems over the smack issues.

I'm now sad we didn't pay for Chamakh.At the start of the season our numbers in terms of strikers looked good but every single one of them has been injured.

Chelsea = Drogba/ Anelka
United = Rooney
Arsenal = ??

Says it all really. When are any of the above strikers ever injured? They deliver. We lack that.

I agree to an extent, but United have won the league for the past few years and even though they had Ronaldo, Rooney is still a striker to be reckoned with.

Agree with Alfie.ALL our strikers have been out injured this season.We've lost both LB's too.So frustrating and ultimately costly.

At the end of the day, all teams suffer injuries to key players. Fact is, Arsenal have this month and boy it shows. Fact also is that the title contenders have enough depth to cope with key injuries.

Arsenal have a great first 11, but not enough depth overall to cope, should key players get injured. I think, as Arshavin says, we need to invest, having 2 top 4 quality players in every position, as quite clearly we do not.

Our season is far from over, as we still have the CL, CC, and FA Cup...but let's be realistic, Chelsea don't look like dropping enough points for Arsenal or Liverpool to catch up, not right now. They play solid football, allbeit not the most attractive.

ThePrem will go to Chelsea imo, Man Utd are alot weaker without their 2 players in one maestro and I just cannot see them toppling Chelsea come May.

My concern is the potential fallout if we do not win anything. The Spanish have already claimed they are interested in Cesc (As usual), but also Clichy. There are other players too on European club radars...I just hope we win something or we WILL lose players to other clubs.

Why? Because Arsenal players know our history, and EXPECT. This is too long for a club with pedigree to go without silverware. So...COME ON ARSENAL, dust yourselves down and focus...FOCUS.

Next summer could witness a massive change in the football balance of power. Cesc and Vidic to Barca, Torres to anywhere hot. English teams are fucked.

You mean the balance of power that has the Champions League holders, the best team in the world, the best player in the world and the world's most expensive player already in Spain?

Winner.
