Cantona is no way, shape or form better then Henry or Ronaldo.

as a united fan, there has to be a little bias towards cantona mate

Irwin was as classy a LB as there was. But yeah, he wasn't better than Ashley.

i believe him to be the best and most reliable leftback of the last 20 years mate, and he had longevity to go with it

its hard to really pick players still playing, as their careers are still ongoing, so i've gone for players who you can see their entire career start to finish, if you get me, with just 2 exceptions ryan giggs, who will be ending his career sooner rather than later, and cristiano ronaldo who i think warrents a place in the category he's in

here's a good one for everyone to do, how about everyone doing a list of the top 5 players from each of the following clubs, but only from their lifetime

arsenal
aston villa
ac milan
ajax
liverpool
man city
man utd
celtic
rangers
spurs
inter
juventus
real madrid
barcelona
bayern munich
chelsea

i'll work on mine later

While you were extremely harsh about my list, I'm gonna be the bigger man here and applaud your effort and respect your decisions. However, I think I actually feel physically sick reading that list of strikers. No Henry, no Ronaldo, yet you've got Gary fucking Linekar in there. Sheer bias, crazy bias and bitterness.

No Henry is scandelous mate, as is no Ronaldo or Ronaldinho, yet you include Cristiano?!

I'm not happy with some exclusions and you've been a bit biased, but nice effort!

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
