How many can you name?

Robert Pires immediately springs to mind, great player but I watch him play and imagine the Pingu theme tune.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

To be fair this guy at college walked like that and we all used to hum the tune.

What do you mean unorthodox? Most great players have the ability to do the unexpected, eg. Ronaldinho's 'eyes' pass, or Ibra's backheel goal, would that count as unorthodox?

Winner.

Alfie is correct, players with unusual technique.

RvP is slightly unorthodox to me. He has great technique but it's a very aggressive style. I thought Davor Suker was a little bit like that aswell..

Yeah I had notice that a bit, maybe it's because of how Wenger was playing him last season. I used to love how he was almost erratic, although maybe erratic is not the perfect word to use but it's the best I can come up with. I think it's a little unusual to see a player with his imagination (Bergkamp-esque) having such an aggressive technique, usually those sort of players would be more graceful and effortless.

RVP was more Eto'o than he was Bergkamp.

Kanu, daddy long legs but my word he was a magician. Two of the quickest and agile feet I've ever seen and a quick brain to boot, great footballer.

Maybe so but I don't think Eto'o has/had the imagination of RvP and certainly not Bergkamp.
