1. Thierry Henry

Scored and created goals prolifically for Arsenal.

2. Alan Shearer

A powerful and free-scoring player with Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United.

3. Wayne Rooney

The Manchester United player, 23, has already won more than 50 England caps.

4. Fernando Torres

A deadly finisher, the Spaniard took no time to settle in when joining Liverpool.

5. Dennis Bergkamp

Showed little emotion but stirred others.

6. Eric Cantona

Inspired Manchester United’s young players.

7. Robbie Fowler

Career faded but was irresistible in the penalty area in his early 20s at Liverpool.

8. Peter Beardsley

A skilful playmaker, possessed remarkable vision.

9. Ian Wright

Exuberant striker shone for Arsenal.

10. Matthew Le Tissier

Regular scorer and creator who remained content to play for Southampton.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Drogba should be higher than Rooney and Torres, RVN should be top 4 at least, Owen should be in there, Andy Cole, Les Ferdinand etc. might feel hard done by.

Well Scholes suggesting Drogba is bemusing, Zola would come above him, but neither should be in the top 10

Bergkamp should be top 3.

Rooney and Torres, well seeing them 3rd and 4th is a joke, it'd be more fitting if neither were in the list at all.

Cantona >>> Rooney
and
Fowler > Torres if you're taking into account what they've done in the league. Fowler has had seasons like Torres has and he has done it more often and even hit 30-31 PL goals in a season I think, did Torres ever do that?

And going by that, you might as well put Wright and Cole ahead of Torres too, so what he's a fast player and a neat finisher, it's not as if we've never seen anything like him before. We've seen plenty and they proved it more often than Torres has. Joke of a list, one of the worst I've ever seen.
