Fuck the left footed debate, you lot are making me uncomfortable  let's get back to Foster. I thought his shot stopping was decent as today. Early on he spilled two shots slightly but not to a dangerous extent, and from then on he was good. He got down exceptionally well to a Drogba effort from less than 8m away, and even for Lampard's goal he very nearly saved it when he shouldn't have been anywhere near it. I also thought his cross catching was impressive, some of the takes he made would've been flapped at by VDS. As everyone has pointed out though, his kicking was substandard, but I think that can be worked on and he clearly has a powerful boot on him, he just needs abit more confidence to belt it first time rather than fannying about with it  VDS can teach him alot about distribution though, his is the best aspect of his game, so I'm still optimistic about Foster's chances :D

And can I just say, apart from the hilarious panalty which was a carbon copy of the one he tried to take against Bayern, Evra was utterly godlike today :cheeeer: :bananadance:  :worship: :happyhappy:

Watch him at Arsenal, his left-foot was quality, the reason he cuts back is because going the other way is a dead-end and cutting in gives him more options.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
