Hart is only around 22 or something. He's very mature for his age, not many keepers re like that at such a young age to be honest.

Mentality? Yes, definitely......Confidence? No way.

I'm not tacking in anything you say today. Today is Foster bashing day, today he is the worst keeper in history and you will back any keeper against him.
Hart is probably the most confident keeper in the PL.

Also I'm feeling Scholes here too, left footed players are always so one dimensional, it's really strange. Messi, Maradona, Robben, all similar styles of player with the same dribbling technique etc, but they're wank on their right foot and can't use it to save their lives. Right footed>Left. Fact.

:deepthought:

Agree to an extent with the fact that many left footers have no idea how to use their right, but you've just named the current best player in the world, and the best player ever and said they're worse than right footed players. :greatpost:

Yeah it sounds odd what I just said, but technically players like Zidane, Baggio, Henry etc slash all over Messi, Maradona etc. The reason those left footed players are the best is because the excel in one or two aspects of the game, whereas the right footed player tends to be a lot more complete.

So left is better if you want to excel at stuff

I agree in the main, i think we've already had this debate like 2 months ago and I know from expereince that left footers have no right foot - though one of my mates is a leftie and he's still pretty tip top on his right - just don't say Henry lol, his left is worse than Messi's right, he cuts in so much that the opposition are left in shock if he skips past them onto his left.

its always seemed to me that right footed players altho not gifted with the left, can use the left to hit shots pass etc, but left footers are not as good with their other foot as right footers are.. its strange

I don't know a single lefty who can hit the ball adequately with his right. Proportionately, as far as I'm aware, right footed players are more adept with their weak side. It's wierd, and it's not the only thing that's different between righty's and lefty's; I've noticed that left handed tennis players get far more spin on shots and serves than righty's...

You are joking aren't you? Henry's left-foot was dynamite, he slammed balls into the far corner with it for fun. Of course if he can he's going to use his right foot!

Ant is correct in his assessment, there is no such thing as a left-footed Joe Cole, bu left-footers can be lethal and often possess unique skill.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

I've watched Henry every week for the last two seasons and he's a fucking nightmare, if his left foot was better he would be twice the player. The number of times he cuts back is just painful.

It's difficult for any right-footed player when they're running full-speed down the left trying to float a cross in, only the likes of Nani are fully capable of it.

Watch him at Arsenal, his left-foot was quality, the reason he cuts back is because going the other way is a dead-end and cutting in gives him more options.
