Fabianski has never placed a ball to Drogba. Secondly, Fabianski can actually deal with things in the air, Foster prefers missing everything. Edited by DaG, Aug 9 2009, 05:31 PM.

Cop on Wrighty, Fabianski is shite. You slate some good players off other teams but rate Fabianski, sort yourself out. |

Foster is not on Edwin's level. VDS is the best footballing goal-keeper I've ever seen, despite a patch of poor form last season. He was sensational with both feet incredibly accurate, and unlike Foster, he sorted his feet out when receiving passbacks and wasn't hesitant ever. |

Foster reminded me of Dean Kiely today, typical left-footer. |

I didn't say he's on VDS level, I just said all keepers make mistakes but you can't just rate them based on a few errors in a couple of games. VDS is very experienced but he makes mistakes, for a bloke who stands at 6'6" tall, he pretty shit at claiming crosses himself, he just slaps them away instead catching them or punching them but that doesn't stop him being a very good goalkeeper. He was a liability to everyone a year ago but he came good oncehe was given a chance, we all know he's a top keeper on his day so give Foster a chance, he will come good. It's not as if he has much experience, he will get better as he plays more. If people are expecting a keeper who's almost the finished article and better than VDS they need to wake up and look at how many games he's played in his career. |

How did I know Phil wouldn't bother watching it, oh shit yeh he has a life. Owen played 20 minutes and didn't do anything wrong, not far rom scoring. |

But that's exactly it. Many, not myself, are criticising Foster today calling him "shaky" and claiming that Kuszczak is better than him. He needs to be an instant hit if he wants to take No.1 gloves off of VDS or even to try and impress Fergie enough to not go out and sign a European 30-something. I have confidence in him, but if he doesn't improve soon many are going to be calling the days of "Carroll, Barthez, Taibi, Howard, Bosnich" and those alarm bells will be ringing in the back of Fergie's head. |

To be fair to ManYou, Foster's kick from his out of hands is massive. Lmao at Scholes' hatred of left-footers, is that because Giggs and Evra were the only one's to miss their penalties?

I'm sure he will get better once he gets a run in the team. Neither Foster or Kuszczak will improve much if they are just having the odd game here and there. It impacts on the defence too because they all need to get used to each others games and that's what makes it so difficult for keepers to oust the No. 1 from his position. The defenders are all used to his game and they need to adjust and that doesn't happen in one game. Foster has potential to become a good keeper for us, I am confident about him but poeple need to cop on and not criticise him for making a mistake when he's still a new addition. How many games has he played for the first team? About 5 or 6, people need to consider this before having a go. Would they lash into Owen or Valencia if they weren't playing very well after 5 games? I don't think so and there's more adjusting needed when you're a new goalkeeper than an outfield player and the position is critical because a bad/shaky keeper can make a great defence look bad. He needs time, I think it's sickening that people can just have a go at him so early. |

It's called a drop-kick I've alway hated left-footers, Giggs, Malouda etc are good footballers so not so much them, but seriously, left-footers can be so erratic and so incompetent with their right. |
