Eduardo V Man City:

Frank Lampard V Bayern Munich:

Discuss.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Lampard's. Great technique and tougher to execute than Eduardo's. Take nothing away from Eduardo's though, what a finish.

Lampard's was better. More difficult to bring down, more difficult strike, bigger occasion.

You're mistaken. There is no bigger occasion than playing City at the COMS...

Eduardo's chest was more intelligent because of the situation he was in, a normal player would've stuck his head onto it and hoped, but in terms of execution, they're similar, both top drawer, but Lampard's finish was sublime and warranted the take a bow from Andy Gray.

Two more majestic chests and hits:

^^ underrated by Ant.

LOve both goals but Lampards was absolutely different class. When you have to turn completely the oppisite direction and shoot instantly is signifigantly harder then it actually looks, when you're only taking a second to do all that, to even be aware where the goal is is difficult, to be able to smash it in the top corner is something else. Most players would've skimmed the ball trying that.

Wonderful goal

Saha's was amazing too and someone who appreciates good football like yourself must realise this...

OI Scholes, find Saha's goal vs Charlton I think. Maybe Watford or Boro. But he used a run as decoy and fucking fired a low shot far corner. Sharp as fvck that lad.

I'd kill to see a 2006 Van Persie pair a 2006 Luis Saha.

Never works on players like Homer because they never take the bait when they should.

Does my nut in when some brilliant trickery or movement doesn't come off because stupid players don't bit when they should be. You just know they aren't anticipating, just getting lucky.
