Looking at that list i find it pretty amazing that Italy didn't dominate the 90's

14 Italians in the top 10, brilliant.

Cannavaro included but not Nesta :tremble:

Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Romario, Cafu, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos ... that's at least 7 class players Ant...

Julio Cesar has a case too imo although I don't think many have put him.

Diego left Ronaldinho out of the Brazil list and included the likes of Rivaldo and Kaka, have a word with yourself mate.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Julio Cesar has had about 2 seasons at the top level (Same as 'Dinho tbh.), last season was his only real standout season, so it'd be harsh on such stalwarts like Gilberto to include Cesar and not Gilbo.

Haha, keep dreaming Ant, you used to love Dinho but you've betrayed his genius in the last few months, sickening disrespect to an iconic footballer.

Gilberto has never really been standout though has he? Then again, I suppose it's difficult for the majority of DM's (/ defensively minded CM's) to stand out...

Yeah, maybe Cesar isn't a standout just yet, but he's going to be reknowned as the best keeper in the world next season I think.

Scholes underrates Rivaldo, he was a phenomenal player - the reason I supported Barca.

Best GK in the world last season for me. Gilberto won all there is to win, including the invincibles campaign, so it's hard to leave him out.
