Some teams have started off their preseason’s with a bang while others have started slowly. How important are preseason games to how you feel about your team’s chances in the upcoming season?

Lmao at Villareal!

I don't think pre-season results have too much importance, pre-season is a time to allow the new signings to build relationships with existing members of the squad, try out some new formations and partnerships, make a shit load of money and to ensure everyone is back to full fitness for the new campaign. It can be useful to give some players some confidence but this isn't necessarily the case - witnessed by Bent's relatively poor season following a pre-season in which he scored goals aplenty.

Winner.

Its all about fitness to be honest. But I will start judging players more at the Emirates Cup.

True. But it's nice to keep a clean sheet and see the strikers hitting the net.Strikers imo need a better pre season than others for confidence etc.
