He can carry on United's success at the same rate Fergie has. He might be arragant which people clearly do not like him for, but his record is there for all to see and its one that shows he is a winner. Something that would win United fans around imo.

As for the point about them not making the C/L while he was there its true but they made the final playing the Mourinho way with a Mourinho squad, not to add the fact that Chelsea never had the luck of Liverpool scoring an own goal in any of the other Semi's. People say you don't see a managers real team untill they have had a summer to stamp their mark on the squad, same principle in this case imo that we didn't see an Avram Grant team but him running a Mourinho one.

Wenger is god as far as I am concerned but when he leaves I would be over the moon if we could get Mourinho.
