I find it extremely hard to pick one out of them to be fair. Loads of them are potentially consistent world class performers, hard to choose between contrasting players of equal quality in their respective position. If Arshavin continues to play like he did last season, I think I'd go for him.

I also think RvP should be up there too, more deserving than lots of the players listed. Doubts over his consistency but really, Mascherano and Vidic are the only truly consistent players there. Ferdinand, Lampard and Gerrard aren't bad either but the rest blow hot and cold even though they're nearly all immensly talented.

Lampard is the most consistent player in the world ManYou.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

He is consistent but he has bad games Scholes, he has pure ineffective days and honestly I think Masch and Vidic are the two who rarely have bad games, they're either solid or instrumental in the teams performance.

I'd agree about Arshavin, he could very well be spoken of as the best player in the EPL this time next year. Magical player.
