Lampard gets my vote with Gerrard and Torres not far behind. Arshavin is not the best lads, get real.

4 in 4 homer
Yes and well done to him he has done very well so far but once the season starts all of that will be forgotten and he will be playing against top class opposition week in week out.
owen will get double tevezs league tally last season, maybe even triple and that would be more than good enough for me

Dear God, what a shambolic prediction.
i was going on what saf said, tevez got 5 in the league last year and lets face it tevez is far from a prolific striker...well not as prolific as owen anyway so a prediction of 15 goals for owen is achievable

i think...

Winner.

Essien :hysterics: Not even the third best player at Chelsea.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Dont mess with Essien he is immense and is easily one of the top 3/4 midfielders in the league

Lampard, Terry and Drogba are better from his own team.

I agree, he's looking down on him from some height.

Thing with Gerrard is that if he wasn't English he'd be rated much less, if Lampard wasn't English he'd be rated much more highly.

I agree with the general jist of that, but i think the main reason Gerrard is so overrated and Lampard is so underrated is that we've got a ridiculous ammount of pundits and commentators who are Liverpoolian's to ram it down our throats, whilst we have virtually no Chelsea fella's pn tele to tell us how great Lampard is
