thats debatable Seven cause obviously utd fans will say that
Thats true, but as much as Robinho is a capable goalscorer I don't see anything like the creative impact that Rooney has in him. Its all opinion anyway. What can be said is that neither are categorically better.
I think you need to watch Robinho a bit then...

Robinho is the most special player in the premierleague and only the likes of Arshavin come anywhere near him.

Robinho is world class> Rooney is a top player but over-rated
Adebayor> Berbatov
Tevez>Owen
Santa Cruz> Macheda

GET REAL WOODBINE
  Spot on.

Ireland>Any United midfielder.
De Jong>Fletcher.
Barry>Carrick.

This shows you how essential United's defence is to them. The ageing Ferdinand and the Spain-bound Vidic won't stay for much longer, so United could be living in our shadows for a long time to come if we can sort out our defence.

I think Rio will become a shadow of his former self this season, he's becoming more and more injury prone and United will be heavily relying on Evans again.

Winner.

Robinho is world class> Rooney is a top player but over-rated: I could just as easily reverse that.
Adebayor> Berbatov: About even I would say, Adebayor has been the more prolific goalscorer, Berbatov the superior creator. Adebayor does have no composure though.
Tevez>Owen: I'll put it this way, Owen is an ageing injury prone one trick poney, Tevez is a hardworking, inspiring player with no end product. Owen will at least score goals, Tevez is neither a scorer nor a creator and is in essence Gerrard without the goalscoring knack.
Santa Cruz> Macheda: No question there! Proven decent striker against a player of potential.

Bias, bias, bias.

Ireland>Any United midfielder. Yes.
De Jong>Fletcher. Not at all, Fletcher has hassled and nulified the midifelds of Barcelona, Inter, Roma, Arsenal and others in the last 2 years, De Jong couldn't even do so against mid to low table prem teams last season. Furthermore, Hargreaves is better than Fletcher anyway.
Barry>Carrick. Not too much in it, what I would say is that Carrick has performed in some big games, i.e. Inter, Chelsea. Barry has looked shit every time I've seen him play for England but has performed well for Villa, albeit against lesser teams than Inter and Chelsea.

This shows you how essential United's defence is to them. The ageing Ferdinand and the Spain-bound Vidic won't stay for much longer, so United could be living in our shadows for a long time to come if we can sort out our defence.

Ferdinand will likely have another 3-4 years left in him at the very top level, Vidic is going nowhere and Evans is coming through to replace him. Utd's defence is absolutely light years ahead of City's though so that is true at least.

He's 30 now so him being at the top level when 33 is utterly within reason because defenders and goalkeepers are able to play at a high level longer than midfielders and fowards. Nesta, Thuram, Cannavaro, Baresi, Maldini, Adams, Sammer etc . . . all these players were still playing at a high level when 33.

Ferdinand has never been at the level of any of those players and he is terribly injury prone at the moment anyway. I'd love to see him at United for another 3-4 years, 'cos he'll get torn apart by a good striker.

Rio has been vastly better than Adams at his best.

No I'm not, I'm not expecting any more than 5th, but our strength in the midfield and attack has to be admired and is second to nobody in the league.

No way Jose. Adams at his peak is a country mile better than Ferdinand at his.
