It's been a terrible game but like I said, the Allianz is like Wembley, it's not a footballing arena. Berbatov and Owen have had no service whatsoever, such a cagey half.
On grounds like Wembley teams who have great dribblers will prevail.

Nani is gonna have a 12 goal 17 assist season. I can just see him coming good.

I'm glad Wrighty now realises the talent he has, if he can cement a regular spot, which might be difficult with competition in Park and Valencia, he can make a big impact. Very creative player.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I've been saying this for a few weeks now, he will score more goals. At least 10 IMO, possibly 15. He just needs to use his head a bit more, he has the ability to make something happen out of nothing. Ronaldo leaving and the gap being left in the team is the perfect scenario for Fergie to give him the confidence that he can improve vastly and replace him to some extent. This is his season, I can just feel it.

I really haven't seem much of Nani off the ball, so I am not sure if he will get the goals unless he takes a few set pieces too. He will get the assists for sure I think.

He will get enough which will be down to his dribbling ability, dynamic style and long range shooting. He needs to get better at making runs in behind from the wings though, if he does that, there's a lot of goals in him.

Rooney/Berbatov will certainly be able to spot those runs.

However, those dug out crosses with the left foot would have been class with Ronaldo attacking the back post. Pity United never saw a lot of that.

Hopefully Owen who as good movement in the box will be someone that Nani can strike a good link with. Pity we don't have Ronaldo to make darting runs at the far post though, I think Owen could feed of him a little bit.

Just switched on the game...I know it's early to say but Nani has been flourishing since Ronaldo's departure, and I've been saying it for a long while yet that he'll come good this season although I, and many others, could be getting ahead of ourselves. He needs a good run of games in order for his game to mature.
