I really fail to see how Torres gets into 6th. It'd be more likely in my eyes that he misses out on the top 50 altogether than making the top 6...

Torres in no way shape or form deserves to be top 6, he was brilliant for the last quarter of the season but for the first three quarters he was either injured or strugglin for fitness.

I honestly can't see who that 6th pick will be, very difficult to decide.
I agree, but it will still be Torres - this is goal.com: they are nonsensical.

Anyone else reckon they might read this, see we all think it would be a joke for them to leave Ireland off the list and put Torres, and then not put Torres in and let Ireland take his place? Would save them some face if they did do this

It has to be Torres Ant I'm afraid, unless a keeper or defender we're not thinking about makes it. Torres deserves top 50 because he made a mark on the CL knock-outs and scored against several big teams in the PL, so he's definitely still to come... :(

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

At least they (rightly) but Ronaldo below Xavi and Iniesta.

5 out of the six best players in the world are Barca players :)

Pity it's not the most credible source :(
