The past several seasons has seen the same four clubs occupy the top 4 positions in the premier league. Indeed other clubs have found it difficult to break into the group, the task seemingly impossible. However, fortunes appear to be changing, with Man City now having the financial power to buy their way to the top. And whilst they spend big, rivals Man Utd are having to sell and are unable to attract new players. Liverpool also appear to be struggling, with the financial problems likely to lead to the sale of some of their top players. Will this help Man City break into the top 4? And at whose expense, Liverpool or Man Utd? discuss |

united are weakened by the sale of ronaldo and the loss of tevez but we will definitely strengthen before the start of the season and so will liverpool. with chelsea's financial muscle and the promise of new players it looks like arsenal are the team most likely to suffer from man city inevitable top 4 challenge. |

Both and Chelsea. Next season top 4 will be 1. Arsenal 2. City 3. Everton 4. Villa |

Poor attempt, an unglorified version of Ant's essay. Arsenal are the only team capable, if that's the right word, of dropping out of the top four. Chelsea are far too strong, ditto United, and on last season's evidence Liverpool won't have any problems. The top four will remain the same, with Spurs pushing them hard. |

Hahahaha that was a top post, classic forthright. It will be Liverpool that we displace from the top 4. Many will say Arsenal but they'll be too good this season. Liverpool will be too inconsistent and lack quality once Torres gets injured. |

Classic forthright posts contain more outrageous and provokative lines That was a fairly sensible post apart from its punchline.

Arsenal are currently the weakest team in the top 4 but in a few years time Arsenal will be the strongest team in the top 4 |
