By quite a few he is overrated but by just as many he is underrated. He is a good winger and has the potential to become a great striker. He knows its his best position and Wenger himself said it is his best position. Walcott has more than one occasion shown he can finish as well.

He is underrated by more than enough people. I know a lot who do not rate him. How do you know how good he thinks he is? Did one of the most quiet and quite clearly humble players in the prem tell you? Scored a hattrick and got his team mates to sign the ball. I think he is better than he thinks he is if anything.

Pulling off one nice finish out of every 20 attempts does not make him a good finisher. His acceleration and ability to escape with ball from crowded areas improved a lot last season, but his end product is still generally piss poor, whether that's a shot, a pass or a cross.

:hysterics: 1 in 20? More chance of you winning the lottery than that being anywhere near the average of his finishing. His passing is not that bad at all. His crossing is poor but is improving and as for his finishing at times it was poor last season but he is playing on the wing he doesn't get many chances!

Okay, last season he scored 5 goals from 57 shots. 1 in 11. Either way, he missed a fair few golden opportunities.

He has played upfront once in his Arsenal career and scored two goals.

Does it say where everyone of those shots come from? Walcott is no a bad finisher and a lot of his shots have probably been very difficult coming in from the wing. You could see how much we missed him when he got injured, teams are shit scared of his pace and it makes them more cautious at times.

His pace is always going to make him very dangerous in certain situations, especially when counter attacking. BUt unless he has a simple ball to play at the end he fucks it up every time without fail.

No he does not play upfront for England unless playing on the wide right (senior) or left (U21) is now being called upfront. So he isn't aloud a bad game? Song is started to be rated by some and he has done nothing but give a foul away.

Rich mans Agbonlahor? Thats nothing to be ashamed of. Agbonlahor when full of confidence is a very good striker and he like Theo is young.
