They are mere options for anyone stupid enough to choose them.

Same with Eastlands, not fit to host an FA Cup semi. Villa Park and St.James' are traditional stadiums full of history, and great playing surfaces. Ideal.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

COMS and Emirates are the two best playing surfaces in the league by miles so if you're using that as criteria you can't look elsewhere. Nobody gives a shit how traditional a stadium looks Scholes, the FA want money which means bigger capacities and good accessibility. It has to be one London location and one Manchester, midlands at a stretch.

Villa park should clearly be one. Its plop in the middle of the country with excellent access. Which is the exact reason why the new wembley should have been in the midlands.

What would foreign opposition think when they arrive in Birmingham, for example. I'm suprised I made it home after my trip to WBA last season.

National stadiums have to be in the capital city, the population is massive and accessibility for visitors and the majority of the country is at its peak. While putting the national stadium in the midlands would be good for the Geordies, it takes away a lot of the prestige and glamour of the national stadium.

No. London is better than the Midlands in every way, so why should Wembley be there?

COMs is shit, lacking in character and atmosphere. Villa Park is a proper ground and more suitable for an FA Cup Semi.
