They bought Henry DaG, and for a season he didn't fit in :D
Yet he still bagged 19 goals...
top scorer apparently, maybe thats wrong. His season was still for some reason regarded as a failure.
Because he was shit; Ronaldinho couldn't be fucked and Eto'o and Messi were out for half the season so if he hadn't been top scorer it would have been pretty criminal.

Winner.

Joorabchian told Radio del Plata: "Right now we are evaluating the proposals from Manchester City, Chelsea and one other team.

"In the next two weeks, Carlos, Adrian (Rouco, Tevez's agent) and I will meet to sort this out.

"City is a club with most of the chances because they are building a big squad, but it is not a decisive point.

"The contract with United officially runs to until June 31 and we'll respect that. After July 1, we'll see. We may be defined in 10 days."

Last weekend, Tevez turned down a lucrative five-year offer to stay at Old Trafford, with Joorabchian making clear it arrived too late.

"Carlitos has never asked United for money, he has never complained about his contract. It is not a problem regarding money, but we never talked about that in two years.

"In two years, (United manager Sir Alex) Fergurson always said we were going to sit down to negotiate but we never did so. He sent an offer, but it was too late because they had not offered anything in two years."

To be fair to Tevez he did stick out like a sore thumb as West Ham's best player in 06/07, and single handedly saved them from relegation. He is a very good player, just not as good as a lot make him out to be. Either way, he'd be a very useful player for any team to have at their disposure.

:hysterics: I love it when people say he was their best player that season. Mark Noble was their best player he was excellent for them he also scored a few of the goals to keep them up and was invloved in nearly everything good the team did. So single handedly kept them up? Not a chance.

Noble is a quality player, i'm a very big fan. Wouldn't say no to him as a replacement for Cesc when he finally moves on. But it was Tevez who seemed to lift the whole team with his fighting spirit, and scored some very important goals.

I don't think he can replace him but he would be a good addition imo. Anyway yeah I agree Tevez did those things for the team but Noble before that had been their best player and assoon as Tevez started playing well Noble imo stepped his game too and was brilliant for them and he himself scored 2 or 3 himself which turned out to be important if I remember rightly.

Oh yeah but maybe they're looking into some sort of loan deal with the cash they get from selling Villa.

If Man City are big enough then Lyon are big enough, he isn't that good that only the top 5-10 clubs in Europe could get him. Bayern Munich maybe?
