Tevez = Overrated and not good enough for the best side (Barca) or the second best (United).

Only purpose he would serve at Barca is mascot, or make the uglier players feel better about themselves.
Tevez is a top class player so show some respect erm especially after everything he did at United.

The other club who want him is Barca because Pep is a huge fan

Manchester City's Brazilian star Robinho believes the aquisition of Carlos Tevez would help the club clinch a Champions League place next

Can Tevez run at players brilliantly? No. Is he a great finisher? No. Is he great off the ball? No. Is he good in the air? No. Is he great creatively? No.

Then why the fvck is this guy considered a top play? Oh yeah, because he runs around a lot...

I thank him for his first year. Last year he was poor (reason for him being poor are irrelevant so don't bring them up cuz this thread isn't about that).

But being grateful for his efforts doesn't mean i have to think he's amazing when he's not. The amount of talk about Tevez is doing my head in...he really is very overrated.

Was having this conversation with one of my mates earlier today. He's a United fan and was saying Tevez is world class. I said pretty much what you just said listing everything he is poor at. He didn't have a response. Just kept saying it depends what you consider world class.

Is he a warrior? yes
Is he a winner? yes
Does he have loads of energy? yes
Is he skillful? yes but a different kind of skillful
Does he hold up the ball well? yes
etc etc

He has limitations but any fan of any club in the world would love him

Who gives a fvck? None of that makes him an average striker, let alone good, great, or world class.

Being a warrior and a winner doesn't make a top player. So basically all he has is workrate, a bit of skill, and the ability to shield the ball well. That is NOT a top player.

He's not great in the air but he can score diving headers
He has composure and if you look at his goals you can see he does have pure talent

v West Ham
v Serbia
v Chelsea at UP
v Wigan

and many more

I wouldn't welcome Tevez, wouldn't start for us and tbh Bendtner scored as many goals as he did last season and most things other than work rate he is as good as Tevez at. He is rated highly by a lot of people becuase he has scored quite a few important goals. Last season he was played in his best position for a big club and that was on the bench as an impact sub and tbf he will do well when he comes on but he has never been and never will be good enough to be a starter for a big club.

They bought Henry DaG, and for a season he didn't fit in :D
Yet he still bagged 19 goals...
top scorer apparently, maybe thats wrong. His season was still for some reason regarded as a failure.

What you saw last season was not the real Tevez and thats Fergies fault.

If what I saw 2 seasons ago was the real Tevez I still wouldn't want him. Will go down as one of the most over hyped players ever. Especiaqlly how good people made him out to be before he came to England.

Ffs sake Homer not every player is gunna play every game. It's called rotation. If he was good enough to start he would have done...but he isn't.

And he should also be good enough to perform well when required, and he rarely did last season. Giggs didn't play every game yet was fantastic in 90% of the games he did play.
