I hate the phrase 'fox in the box' because it makes it seem like there's little to it. Van Nistelrooy was a genius in his own way, an incredible player.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.

It's not a dig at those not understanding how good Bergkamp was, rather, it's confirmation that one or 2 posters on here clearly either were not Arsenal supporters from 1996, or certainly didn't follow the prem.
What a gay fucking post. I can hardly control how old I am, can I? Henry is a far superior player to Bergkamp. I think you guys wont admit it because he is black
...Which is exactly the point he was making...........

bergkamp is a god in Holland. He almost single-handedly transformed the face of the club, and he made players around him look better then they actually are. That's the sign of a ridiculously special player

it sure has shown those of us who have been footie fans from time, and those who have not. It's not a dig at those not understanding how good Bergkamp was, rather, it's confirmation that one or 2 posters on here clearly either were not Arsenal supporters from 1996, or certainly didn't follow the prem.
Pure bullshit. So anybody who thinks Henry is better doesn't know Arsenal well enough or is too young? Get out of your own fucking ass crack and liven yourself up, Henry was much more effective than Bergkamp, both geniuses, but Henry miles more effective in the game of football. Just because I'm saying this doesn't mean I don't rate him, quite the opposite. I've followed Arsenal all my life, have a great passion for them, and have seen the whole of Bergkamp's career, I actually remember the day he signed for Arsenal as I was in my back garden, my brother was playing as Bergkamp and I was Patrik Berger, remember it as if it was yesterday, and I bet you cvnts can't remember that day. All in all, don't you dare disrespect my knowledge and try to undermine me, my opinion stands, and would be agreed with by every realistic Arsenal fan, young and old, unless they had a severe bout of nostalgia like yourself...

Wow strong words, took you 25 minutes to blurt that out

I remember pretending to be Nedved and Nakata when United were linked.

Thierry Henry is the best player this club has ever had and I doubt I will see another player as good (at this club) for many many years.

You won't see another player as good as Henry at Arsenal in the next 20 years I can guarantee you of that...

Ant was a major Arsenal fan until the foreign owners came along so we've got to respect his opinion on the Gunners.

Lol nah, I'm just a fan of football, and Arsenal have played good football for the last decade, so it was very easy to warm to them and take the team to heart.

I had been an Arsenal fan for nearly 15 years when Bergkamp joined. And no I'm not talking sh1t. So you think you know everything about Arsenal, fair play if you do, but as a City fan I doubt you have followed them religiously as a kid. As for my knowledge of 'my' club :hysterics: jog on ffs what a pathetic claim. I'm 31, attended more Arsenal games than you could have possibly as a Man City fan, in fact I keep all my matchday programs, for which I have close to 250...so stroll on with that rash claim.

My point is some of the comments by one or two posters on here have highlighted little or no knowledge of Bergkamp's skill, abilty, impact at Arsenal, for Holland, and the genius of the man. If you feel that refers to you, then so be it. I know you have your arse so far up DaG's arse that you fail to have an opinion that is allowed to differ...or you'd be called a fvcking idiot chatting sh1t by the clique you are in...very childish wouldn't you say!

And I do not agree with this Henry v Bergkamp competition either, they both were the best players Arsenal have had up front since the premiership began. But to me, Bergkamp shades it.
That's my opinion as an Arsenal fan since the age of 4, and I'm entitled to it without jumped up kids like you claiming I'm talking shit or no nothing about my club...the damn cheek.

maybe to make things easier, as opinions are being thrown back and forth saying the same thing. If it came down to Arsenal being able to bring back either Henry or Bergkamp in their PRIME to play for Arsenal next season, who would you choose?

For me it would be Henry, simply because i feel he would give us more. Not taking anything away from Bergy though
