maybe, but if not certainly close, his last three seasons probably edge him into legend category

On par with RVN imo, I'd say almost club legend but not quite...

Yeh on par with Van the Man, legend.
Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

the way he disrespected the club in the last 2 years makes me reluctant to call him a legend.

ability wise there is no question but to be a legend you have to love the club imo

Definitely a club legend. 3 PL titles in a row, steered them to the Champions League, dazzled OT with some magical skills and stupendous freekicks, plus the first United player ever to win FIFA World Player of the Year. Helped pioneer a new flexible United frontline.

Definitely a legend, far more so than RVN, on par with Cantona.

Winner.

What Phil said. Ronaldo was far more important in bring United back to the forefront on the world stage; maybe for fans Cantona was more of a legend, but in terms of shaping the club for the worldwide football fanbase, Ronaldo was far more of a legend in my eyes.

ability wise ronaldo is arguably the best we have ever had but that isnt what makes him a legend.

plus ronaldo had a great team around him, cantona was surrounded by kids
