Or in the ridiculously protracted 2nd Group Stage that UEFA thought was a good idea :greatpost:

Winner.

Some people obviously don't understand the word 'impressive'.
Others obviously don't understand that constant wanking over Lampard is pissing people off.
Oh I understand that, I love it.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

You wank over lampard 20 times the amount i wank over torres and gerrard combined, which is very worrying for a united fan

I've gotta say I agree with Scholes. Scoring just less than a striker from defence is more impressive. Rolling your arguing over the pure fact that 10 is more than 8, but 'impressive' is a subjective word, so to use facts to justify it is...wrong

I thought it was 1-3? Still, that was the game where we scored a goal with like 50 passes before slipping Overmars in; great stuff!

Im pretty sure it was 3-0 but i might be wrong as i dont seem to remember having the ball at all in that game so pretty hard to score without the ball..

Sometimes you've just got to show appreciation to someone outside your own club.

Precisely Artrun, and he has the audacity to call me dense.

This is a new topic of debate, and a very interesting one too. The Champions League knock-out stages define players' careers, and allows them to establish greatness or increase in stature.

1. Elcule never said that.

2. That's two fewer knock-out rounds, and most of the players on this list have had similar opportunity :)
