Drogba's stats are impressive as well, considering he's only been playing in the knock-out rounds since O4, but yeah, Ronaldo's stats are incredible, he'll end up topping that list within a few years

You're right about Ronaldo but it depends on whether Madrid improve in Europe and actually reach the knock out rounds

Ronaldo x 2 V Roma, Milan x 1, Roma x 1, Lyon x 1, Chelsea x 1, Porto x 1, Arsenal x 2, Inter Milan x 1, off by heart.
Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Inzaghi = Legend. Tell you what though, the stat of Ronaldo is truely impressive considering the age of those above him in that list - they've all got at least 5 years on him...WOW!
We are going to miss you Roony :tremble:

Great thread fella. Reckon that record will be beat as the last seasons have seen a change in power in terms of Serie A clubs being such a strong force.

...And to think it was only the quarter final drubbing of Roma in 2007 where he scored his very first CL goal! He has since turned into a lethal figure in the competition, his tally is also aided by us reaching the semi's and then two finals. As Scholes said, RvN has been unlucky with crashing out at an early stage because if he was reaching semi-finals nearly every year, I have no doubt he would be in the top 2 or 3 of that list.
Looks like Ronaldo will help Real to get past the last 16 again then.

If a striker scores 10 goals and a defender scores 8, the striker's goalscoring stat is still more impressive...But I see what you're saying.
So a striker scoring 10 goals impresses you more than a defender scoring 8?
Are you being deliberately dense today?

Winner.

Some people obviously don't understand the word 'impressive'.

Others obviously don't understand that constant wanking over Lampard is pissing people off.
