I think Man Utd will need to restructure somewhat anyway. Giggs is gettng on, as is Scholes. They have lost Ronaldo on the wing, possibly Tevez up front.

I think they will go all out for Ribery on the wings and if they cannot convince Tevez to stay they will launch a bid for someone like Santa Cruz (Fergie was interested in him last season).

Maybe Huntelaar coming the other way also.

But who is good enough to replace Ronaldo at set pieces...free kicks and the like?

i'm just not convinced though,

yes ronaldo is a special player and the best player on the planet but with ronaldo in the team a certain mr wayne rooney goes over looked, plays out of position just to accomadate ronaldo's prefered position out wide. they might even use the money to keep tevez now

i still think they'll be the team to beat next year, the clubs around them having done much improving lately either
I agree fella, Man Utd are still th team to beat and Rooney is on fire. But no way Rooney can score with a tally of Ronaldo as well as his own...they need someone special to replace Ronaldo...and according to the mancs that post on here it ain't Tevez
he's probably not, they'll need another van Nistelrooy to score them goals but Rooney is due a 30 goal season at some point

knowing red nose though he probably has some wonderkid waiting in the desert!

Fvck right off with Santa Cruz. I seriously don't want him here although i guess he'd be happy enough on the bench. And if Hargreaves can stay fit he'd be free kick taker. He's pretty good as Arsenal found out :)

French midfielder Patrick Vieira looks set for a return to England, but the 32-year-old insists he remains committed to Italian champions Inter and believes he can still play an important role at the club.

English Champions Man Utd are believed to have lodged formal bids for the player.

But the ex-Arsenal man told French newspaper L’Equipe, “My intention is to stay at Inter, as I feel I can still give a lot to this club.

“But if [Jose] Mourinho does not want me anymore, then I will go away. Manchester could be a nice challenge.

“What’s more important for me is to play regularly ahead of next year’s World Cup. My choice will be a sporting one.”

Vieira mustered just 24 appearances in all competitions this season, with 10 starts in Serie A.

Sneijder is a quality player, would not like to see my dutch bredrin join the scum though. RvN lost his Dutch national identity whilst he was playing for them...in my eyes!
