i'm just not convinced though,

yes ronaldo is a special player and the best player on the planet but with ronaldo in the team a certain mr wayne rooney goes over looked, plays out of position just to accomadate ronaldo's prefered position out wide. they might even use the money to keep tevez now

i still think they'll be the team to beat next year, the clubs around them having done much improving lately either

I agree fella, Man Utd are still th team to beat and Rooney is on fire. But no way Rooney can score with a tally of Ronaldo as well as his own...they need someone special to replace Ronaldo...and according to the mancs that post on here it ain't Tevez

Ronaldo is an amazing player. It is impossible to replace him with any 1 player but its an awful lot of money. At least if he's gone he will take the media circus with him. Im sure Fergie will be able to rebuild the team again. He's a master of it and i have total faith in him to do so. Best of luck to Ronaldo in the future.

By the sounds of it ronaldo told united he wanted to go, 80m is too good to turn down for a player who wants to go. He has said all along that it was his dream to play for real which is fair enough, but why say he wanted to stay and he was happy here? I'd like to know where real get there money from: 56m for kaka, 80m for ronaldo= 136m on 2 players, notice that platini hasn't voiced any objections to them spending silly money.

I wish him well personally, he helped united win everything there is to win and we made 68m profit on him, although he shouldn't have said he wanted to stay when he didn't. What i will say is that he might find it more difficult than he thinks at real, they've signed 2 attacking players when they were utter shite defensively last year. I can see rooney stepping up now ronaldo has gone, alot of united fans believe him to be uniteds best player anyway. As long as united replace him properly i can see this being a good deal for all concerned

Tevez has been treated like shit as a result of being sidelined as 3rd choice striker when the amazing sup incredible master goal scorer berbaTOSS joined...so I think he'll likely leave for Man City tbh...at least he'll be guaranteed 1st team regular football. Remember Fergie will always start Rooney and the TOSS up front in preference.
