Arsenal had a poor season last year so no question things will be better. This United team has no pace or tempo and make no mistake about it Ronaldo was more than just a player to that team. |

Maybe Cull means that Henry was more important to Arsenal and when he left, you had a much better season the next campaign. So Ronaldo, less important to Utd in comparison doesn't necessarily mean we we plummet, fair enough it's hard to move up when you're already the best team in the league and even if Ronaldo was here next season there'd be no guarantees on us winning the league, it's a very tough league to win regardless and nobody has ever won the PL 4 times in a row. Ronaldo or not, I don't expect Utd to win the league, I expect us to challenge though and I think we will challenge, I'm pretty confident that by the time the transfer window closes we will have some more additions to the team, making us better in Ronaldo's position and other positions where we need improving. |

Yes because his heart wasn't in the club and he had a very average season but even then he still managed 18 league goals and countless goals in other comps. |

Be honest if you dont get Ribery then would you accept that United will be in a weaker position then what they were last season? quality players dont grow on trees and the only players who could be useful for United are all going to Madrid lol. Someone like Sniejder would be good for you because you need more creativity in the midfield

We will have to see Homer, if you read my post in this topic a page or two back, you'll see me explaining that we are most likely going to be a different team next season in style, approach etc. If we get Ribery and a good striker well I'd prefer that to Ronaldo and I would always be of that opinion. He hasn't left an unreplacable hole in our team, we still have all the players who created the chances for him and we just need a great winger and a goalscorer. Ribery would be unfuckingbelievable but you go on like it's impossible for us to win the PL without Ronaldo and you'd be wrong. |

Never said impossible not by any means im just saying it will be more difficult unless you bring the right players in but Manchester United will still start the season of as the team to beat and rightly so and I will always fear them. Anyway Ronaldo has more than Madrid on his mind at the minute so maybe it isn't such a bad thing selling him after all |

New ‘Galactico’ Ronaldo could be on his way to Ireland this summer. Ronaldo may be doing his pre-season training in Kildare The Manchester United star, who is all set to join Real Madrid for a staggering £80m, may accompany his new team-mates when they arrive in Co Kildare for pre-season training. The decision to spend some time in Ireland with new coach Manuel Pellegrini follows the appointment of Irish sports management company Platinum One by Real Madrid as its official pre-season partner for 2009/2010 pre-season training. In a statement, Platinum One confirmed: “Discussions between the two parties began in November when officials from Real Madrid CF visited Scotland and Ireland with Platinum One. “Within the past few weeks negotiations for the ten-day visit of the world's biggest football club were concluded in Madrid. “The pre-season programme, which will involve the full senior squad under new first team coach Manuel Pellegrini, will take place at Carton House, Maynooth, Co Kildare from July 13 to 22.” Platinum One also confirmed that Real will play one match in Ireland as part of the training programme. There you go Irish fans I know ManYou mentioned this earlier so get down there and get your tickets

Kaka Celebrates Real Madrid’s Bid To Sign Cristiano Ronaldo Los Blancos’ Brazilian recruit has expressed his delight after finding out that 'CR7' could be on his way to the Bernabeu. Kaka’s whopping €67.2 million move to Real Madrid just five days ago is on the verge of becoming forgotten news, after Los Blancos launched an unprecedented assault on Thursday morning to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United. The ex-Milan ace, however, has no problems vacating the spotlight for the Portuguese and, if anything, he is looking forward to playing alongside the soon-to-be former Red Devil. “I rejoice in the signing of Cristiano,” he replied to reporters when, upon touching down in Johannesburg with Brazil, he was informed that his new employers had made an official bid for 'CR7'. “I do not want to talk any more about this subject because I am here with the Selecao and we are only thinking about winning the Confederations Cup. “But there’s no doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world and he will help Real Madrid fight for every title next season.” Kaka became the world's second most expensive footballer earlier in the week following his switch to the Spanish behemoths, but he looks set to be demoted to third spot on the list if Ronaldo’s mega €94 million transfer goes through. Madrid, meanwhile, are also reportedly hot favourites to land Valencia’s David Villa. This is just a guess but this is what I reckon the team will be Casillas Ramos Pepe Albiol Marcelo Diarra Alonso Kaka Ronaldo Villa Ribery WOW!!!!!! I have no idea where Real Madrid are getting all this money from but frankly I dont care.

Ye but she is a rebound girl CRISTIANO RONALDO last night branded his world-record £80million move to Real Madrid "historic". But while the 24-year-old celebrated in Los Angeles, he was also exposed as a two-faced winker by the man who masterminded the deal. Ronaldo said: "I have had my time at Man United. It's time to look forward and £80m is quite a sum of money. This deal is historic." However former Real president Ramon Calderon insisted Ronaldo agreed to go more than SIX MONTHS ago. The revelation makes a sham of the Portugal winger's repeated claims that he was going to stay at United. Calderon said: "It was easy. We agreed everything and he decided to come." He also claims United knew all about the deception and added: "Let's say it was a gentleman's agreement. "Let's say that everyone involved in the operation agreed to do it this season. That is what I can say. It has happened now, it was a bit early last season." Ronaldo got the news that his transfer to Real had been confirmed after being out clubbing all night in Los Angeles where he is on holiday. Speaking from his hotel room, Ronaldo said: "It's flattering when two of the top teams in the world want you to play for them. "Now I can look forward to Real Madrid and a new stage in my career. I learned of the deal here in LA and heard from my people that United had accepted." Ronaldo has been troubled by a hernia injury but said: "I do not require surgery. The hernia is nothing to worry about." Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has warned United they will struggle to replace Ronaldo. Sparky, twice shown the Old Trafford exit door as a player, said of Ron's departure: "You will never compensate fully unless you replace him like for like. That is very difficult to do." How many wingers do you think madrid are going to sign ffs? There are rumours that united will sign robben, someone who you said yourself was a better winger than ronaldo no doubt that won't be the case now tho as you change your opinion more than you change your pants. |

That last comment pretty much sums you up, how many times have you banged on about clubs not having morals and such like, but now madrid are doing what they like it's ok. You should think yourself lucky that arsenal don't have any players good enough for madrid to want |
