I know my Spanish football and I can tell you know for a fact that David Villa will never play in England because he would never ever leave Valencia for Real Madrid or Barcelona but sources close to the player claim he is Madrid bound and that a fee has already been agreed so you can forget about him.

Ribery is not as impossible but it is very unlikely considering he only has eyes for Barca or Real.

You don't know football full stop, hence your pathetic rants, real cannot afford villa without first selling a number of players. They are also unwilling to match valencias asking price, they are only prepared to offer the same amount as diego forlans buy-out clause. Villa is on record as saying that he will leave if it helps valencia, although it's more likely we would get benzema in all honesty

You are a very optimistic person ManYou but to say you are not worried at the prospect of losing your best player is a bit silly really because I dont even need to explain how important he is to the side. He is more than just a weapon and deep down you know it because you're not just losing a quality footballer here you are losing a player who changes the dymanic in which United play and he is basically the only player in the United side who has blistering pace so unless you buy top level players then you will be almost fucked basically because you cannot lose players like Tevez and Ronaldo and then still expect to be top dog because it just doesn't work like that. Im sure you are expecting big players to arrive but im not so sure myself.
I think we can get over Ronaldo Homer there's nothing wrong with that, I've seen big players go before that UNDOUBTEDLY had a deeper rooted influence on our club never mind just the team than Ronaldo has had, and I've seen us come out the other side stronger so I'm not going to be all doom and gloom.

Don't even mention Tevez, he won't be a big loss at all. Losing him doesn't even rank alongside losing Kanchelskis or Ince. We do lose that dnamic that Ronaldo brings but Rooney himself can be a dynamic player and really we are losing the penetration that's a bigger loss along with the goals. Everyone says we are much slower this season so it won't be that much of a drop in pace up front. What we need now is an intelligent winger to work off Rooney and Berbatov, we might well need more of a goalscoring threat.

____Fletcher_Carrick
Park____Berbatov__Ribery
________Rooney

That's just one player and we could also get Hamsik and Benzema giving more options, maybe a striker with some aerial threat, if Nani can step up he offers some penetration. So clearly I'm not that worried, it's far from impossible to replace Ronaldo's input to the team.

July 2003: David Beckham to Real Madrid for £25m
The fact that he is still playing for England six years on suggests the fee, by comparison, was modest.

Aug 2001: Jaap Stam to Lazio for £16.5m
The big Dutchman fell out with Sir Alex Ferguson and so the parting was not unexpected.

Aug 2003: Juan Sebastien Veron to Chelsea for £15m
United took a £13m loss on Veron in just two years, but his time at Chelsea was even more unimpressive.

July 2006: Ruud van Nistelrooy to Real Madrid for £11m
Like Ronaldo, Van Nistelrooy did not hide his desire to join Real, and made a good impact before age caught up with him.

Dec 2001: Andy Cole to Blackburn for £8m
One of the most prolific scorers in Premier League history, Ferguson sold him at probably the right time.

June 2005: Paul Ince to Inter Milan for £7m
England midfielder was reluctant to leave Old Trafford, but his experience in Serie A helped him on his path to management.

Aug 2007: Alan Smith to Newcastle for £6m
Smith wanted first-team football after struggling with injuries, but his career has stuttered ever since.

July 2007: Kieran Richardson to Sunderland for £5.5m
Initially regarded as one of the next generation of bright young things but an inability to hold a first team place saw him move on.

May 2008: Gerard Pique to Barcelona for £5m
Came of age following his move to Barcelona. He made just 14 appearances for United, having signed as a kid.

Aug 1995: Andrei Kanchelskis to Everton for £5m
Another player to have fallen out with Ferguson, he arrived amid fanfares but despite some famous performances, overall his contribution was minimal.

We don't have to become the same team anyways and replace EXACTLY what Ronaldo offers, there's more than one way to play the game successfully!

You will regret saying that when Tevez scores 20 for City next season, he is very much a form player, look how good he is for Argentina, and at the end of his West Ham stint, he is a top class player when given the opportunity, and he will be with us next season so you will be eating your words.

Ronaldo and Tevez won you the CL last year, you're gonna have to buy some class players if you want to get past the QF's this year...

First of all i watch la liga every week, i also know that villa doesn't want to leave valencia but said he would to help the club. SSN had a reporter on who works for real madrid tv, he said that real would now have to sella number of players before they can sign anyone else. It was your boyfriend ballague who said that real would only offer valencia the value of forlans buyout clause for villa. I've admitted that benzema is more likely than villa, but if united offer valencia 35m for villa who's to say what will happen?

I'm supprised that your so happy with what real are doing, the 5 best players in the world now play in spain, which is bad for the prem. Real are now going around throwing money at clubs for there best players, maybe it will happen to arsenal, no club wants to lose there players to another

Ronaldo has scored over scored 66 goals in the past three league seasons never mind the assists and everything else. Only time will tell if United can manage as effectively without him but getting these star names wont be as easy as they sound so lets wait and see what Fergie does. He never really buys replacements thats all I will say.

RVN made a good impact? WTF he was a fucking world beater....

And this was after trying to claim Beckham's fee was too low because he's still playing for England? He's not a top level player anymore ffs, whoever wrote that is a tosser.

course they'll attract big names

now Ronaldo's left how many of these players that are being linked with moves, like Ribery, Villa, Silva ect are looking at United now thinking there's a hole that i could fill there.

Fergie even might have a signing linded up. I'm sure he wouldn't sell Ronaldo if he didn't have a player lined up and 99% signed up.

Man City made a 45m bid for Villa which was accepted but Villa said no I dont want to move to England and Man Utd never buy Spanish players so I dont see that changing now. Im happy to see the worlds best players play in the top 2 leagues and im happy to see that Real Madrid are no longer buying poor pathetic players anymore because Perez is a winner and what he is doing is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen.
