I gave him a chance when he came in, but the bloke has no idea what he's doing; he was incredibly lucky to nab a win at the weekend but it ran out here, with Ecuador worthy winners. If they carry on like this, Argentina will struggle to make the world cup, never mind win it, and that would weaken the tournament as a spectacle and would be sad for football. Fucking sack this tosser now before it's too late and stop playing fucking Tevez. Messi + Milito = Balance, coherence and a side with better shape. If they don't do this they will pay big time. And seeing as they won't, they will. Upsetting.

Tevez did brilliantly to win it to be fair. They only have 4 games left and they need to win at least 3 it seems...Maradona obviously doesn't want Messi to have his chance of replicating him...hopefully Portugal make it. Veron is a great footballer but Argentina have problems if they have to keep fielding him. Love him as a player but he was shocking tonight. |

Messi will have to perform like Maradona of '86 if Argentina are to win this World Cup. |

Im glad you made this post elcule because I was going to mention this as well and I agree with almost everything you said there about Maradona and Argentina. This guy has no idea and the only reason he is the coach is because of his reputation but to put it bluntly he hasn't got a clue and the know hot to be a coach and some of the things he does is almost laughable at times. He started off his reign by playing 3 central defenders and playing a 3-4-3 formation and then for this game he decides to play 4 at the back but every tactical decision he made was a joke and the fact he never picks Higuain makes it all the more baffling. He plays rookies from his homeland but not one of the most in form players in La Liga Even if they get to the WC they will probably go out in the 2nd round because they are a joke with a poor Gk a poor defence and a poor coach. |

They are a fucking diabollical unit, I watched the game last night and after 10 mins said to GB ''Put the Argentina game on, they're gonna get stuffed'', and they did, because they're a piss poor team. The only plus point was that Tevez was class despite his penalty miss. If you saw the way he beat the whole defence and put in an amazing cross for Messi, only for Messi to miss the open goal, you'd think Messi was the Man City bound player and Tevez was the best lol... |

Argentina currently find themselves in fourth place of the ten-team group, a position that will automatically qualify them for the tournament, but not only is morale low at the moment but Argentina are the team who have the hardest closing schedule of the ten teams. In Argentina's final four qualifiers they face Brazil (1st place), Paraguay (2nd place), Peru (10th place) and Uruguay (6th place). Apart for the game with Peru, Argentina will clash with three extremely difficult teams who they have struggled against in recent times. |
