NYRB and PSG both much better options than Aus. Is he good enough for PSG still though?

Nah he's not good enough for PSG at all, would never get in the side. He should have moved there last year when he had the chance.

Yep yep yep, exactly as I thought :(

He moved to LA five years too early, this was the time he should have gone. Imagine, couple of seasons at Milan, couple at PSG, then put out to pasture in LA. As it is, he's wasted his twilight years in a shit league and will either retire ignominiously or end up playing a shocking standard of football somewhere like Aus.

He isn't good enough to play for a top team (or one aspiring to be) like PSG. But I can see them still going for him to tap into his global fan base. In fact he would be perfect for them, in a purely business sense.

I would.

I can't help but feel his move to LA Galaxy was for non footballing reasons. His wife and kids ruined the latter stages of his career. Fair play for prioritising your loved ones, but football is a short career and you have to make the most of it while you have the chance.

Have you seen PSG's CM and wide options? He wouldn't play a game, maybe a few sub appearances when they're in need of a few quality set piece deliveries.

Paris Saint-Germain are among a host of leading clubs ready to offer David Beckham the final challenge of his illustrious career.

The 37-year-old, who has announced he is to leave Los Angeles Galaxy, intends to make a decision on his future by mid-December.

He has received offers from Russia, China, Australia and Brazil.

But it is understood Beckham will only accept an offer which would see him play regular first-team football.

Monaco lead chase to sign Beckham - reports

David Beckham does not expect a return to the Premier League when he leaves LA Galaxy with Monaco set to open talks with the player, according to media reports.

Beckham has revealed he has numerous offers to continue playing when his Los Angeles Galaxy career ends this weekend, but the former England captain is reportedly set to open talks with the French Ligue 2 side after Saturday's MLS Cup final against Houston.

The 37-year-old is ready to bring the curtain down on six seasons in Major League Soccer with several clubs lining up to sign the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star. But it now seems that Monaco have jumped to the front of the queue.

Monaco are owned by billionaire Russian businessman Dmitry Rybolovlev, who bought a majority stake in the club a year ago.

The move to Monaco would appear to be a lifestyle choice with the club looking to rebuild eight years after they lost to Porto in the final of the Champions League. They are currently top of the French second tier after 15 matches this term.

"I'm lucky because at 37 years old, I've been offered some exciting options," Beckham told Sky Sports News. "I've got quite a few offers on the table." .

The boyhood United fan added: "I've always said I think I would struggle to come back and play in England because I've played for the biggest club in the world, the biggest club in England, Manchester United, and I couldn't see myself playing for any other Premiership team.

"But you never know. Like I said, we've got some exciting options on the table. I do think we'll be spending a little more time in England because it's good for the kids to see their grandparents. Over the last six years it's been difficult not seeing them as much as we'd like and they'd like, but we definitely won't be leaving LA for good."

Beckham's reluctance to return to England to play could disappoint new QPR boss Harry Redknapp, who is among those to have been linked with an offer for the midfielder.

But Beckham said he appreciated all the praise that has come his way from Redknapp and others.

"What I'm really touched about is the fact that I've still got great managers like Harry, like (Paris St Germain coach) Carlo Ancelotti coming out and saying great things about me, not saying they would like to sign me, but saying nice things about me," he said.

"I've spent a couple of months with Harry when I was training at Tottenham. He doesn't have to say the things that he says so it's nice that he talks about me in such a nice way."
