Yeah it was something quite extraordinary and shows just how talented and confident he is.

This goal hurt me so much but I was left with my jaw to the floor...
I scored goals like that all the time, no messing. I am so lethal and accurate with my heel. Remember watching that game, Cassano scored an absolute peach of a header to open the scoring.

Already been posted, but yeh, I loved that goal. He is a legend, and it annoys me when Diego talks more highly of Andy Cole than this genius...

The way he powered through the gears, showing great close control to beat defenders was class, but the finish was just divine.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

I love RvN's goal v Charlton where he controls it with his chest while turning and blasts it into the top corner after a great piece of work and cross by Rooney.........Scholes will tell you he was at the game!

Yeah I love doing that too, Ibra is an inspiration of mine and over the years I've been a big striker like him with flair and ability, nothing better than connecting nicely with a roundhouse heel like that

I remember Euro 2004 so well, for all the games I'd sit in my living room and get the surround sound going really loud, just to feel the atmosphere. You're right that Cassano scored a nice header, diving low to the ground and glancing perfectly into the corner, what an incredible player. That was the tournament that made me realise Cassano was deserving of his record 18m move and all the hype, that goal against Bulgaria too was for 10 seconds an incredible moment, but later became so disappointing after the Scandinavians had fixed the other game. Italy robbed. :(

Do you remember Cassano when he was at Bari by any chance?

Yeah the game against Bulgaria, wasn't that the 6-0 game and Larsson scored a great diving header? Ibra is just the sort of player I like to emulate, I don't take football too seriously, I just try and do crazy stuff with the ball and make people look foolish, I'm more likely to mess with a ball for an hour inventing and perfecting new tricks than actually have a game!

I don't think I remember him at Bari tbh, I remember him from around 2002/03 and he always had the talent but had an air of inconsistency about him which is why I don't rate him too highly, haven't really seen him this year but he seems to have finally found himself as a player from whhat I've been hearing and seeing from clips. The only thing I remember about Bari is Igor Protti who was a lethal goalscorer in the season when I watched so much Serie A must've been around '96, it was such a great year in Italy. Batistuta was on fire, my favourite Signori had a great season too. I was sooooo into Italian football back then.
