Out of the ones you're doing, I'd say it's the hardest. I've struggle at times this year with the syntax as you have to blend huge amounts of info into tight exam requirements. But, I think it's v valuable as it improves your writing style etc, and if you're interested in it, do it.

hmm i suppose thats alright, im thinking about taking History for AS/A level not sure what i would drop out of that or business, im currently taking Maths Economics Business Studies and History, not sure what i would drop after year 12 though, is history a hard as/a level? and is it interesting as ive always taken a liking to history :D
Business Studies is a crap subject to do.

Any A-Level subject with "Studies" at the end fucks you over. A Uni will go "3 As please but that's not including Business Studies" ...

Cold War and The start of the third Reich are in AQA but there are quite a few options...

Ummm there's Stalin, The Great American depression and WW1 in depth...

That's off the top of my head

I Liked the tudors, know quite a lot about that through my own interest, obviously not to as/a level depth though, although i always found it quite interesting, i'd love to do stuff like the third crusade and periods like the russian/french/american revolutions and the renaissance period seems quite interesting.

We only learnt the minimum amount of topics required so we dont have much choice.

In Paper 1 its America a divided union and stuff like that from WW2 until watergate, and then superpower relations from 1945-90

In Paper 2 , its Nazi Germany & The Depression and the New Deal

In terms of the Premiership, it's been a bit underwhelming to be honest; a title race threatened, but never really got going. I believe this is mainly down to the negative tactics that the lower teams have brought to matches against the big four, with United's success eventually coming down to them being the best equpped team to batter down a parked bus. I've enjoyed Liverpool's rise and it's made a refreshing change to the Chelsea/United duopoly of the last 3 years; it's a real pity Fernando Torres missed so much of the season through injury as he could well have propelled them on to the title.

For me, it's been a wonderful season to be an FC Barcelona fan but the joy at winning the domestic double is slightly tainted somewhat by the increasingly - and alarmingly - apparent decline in the quality of Spanish football, particularly in terms of title challengers. Barcelona have been brilliant to watch don't get me wrong, but it's slightly disappointing so see no level of threat posed.

In the Champions League, although results suggest otherwise, I think we're nearing the edges of the cloud that English football has imposed upon the continental game. Although Madrid's battering by Liverpool is not great evidence for this, Juventus' performance against Chelsea was more than admirable; combine that with a resurgent Milan, the Turin coffers being full and Fiorentino Perez reemerging on the scene at Real Madrid - we may well see a stronger European challenge next season.

Still, the two best teams in Europe are Barcelona and United; they will fight it out to see who is the best team in the world (or half team in Barca's case - get the excuses in early  ).

In terms of high quality football and drama, there really hasn't been that many moments where the two have combined to create a great game. Liverpool - Chelsea / Arsenal were memorably games but were made so due to defensive frailty moreso than attacking magic. So no, there hasn't really been a 'game of the season' for me. My favourite was Barcelona 2-0 Madrid though. Magical night.

Hopefully next season will be a lot better.

Winner.
