What have you made of the season? An improvement on last season? Which season has been your favourite in terms of quality and drama since watching football?

Arsenal 4-4 Spurs, Chelsea 4-4 Liverpool, Liverpool 4-0 Madrid, Liverpool 1-3 Chelsea, Arsenal 1-3 United, United 3-2 Villa, Chelsea 1-1 Barcelona are just some of the major games we've been treated to...

Thoughts?

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

There have been some good games this season, but in recent memory I'd still go for 2006-07 for sheer drama in the title race, and the quality of football on display that season.

Utd went for a traditional 4-4-2 in most games, played fluid football, and were , in all honesty, outsiders to win the league. But they did it, all the while playing football the way it is meant to be played.

As far as drama goes, Fulham 1 - Utd 2 comes to mind with Giggs and Ronaldo turning things around. And Everton 2- Utd 4 at the same time with Chelsea 2 - Bolton 2. With simultaneous kick-offs, there were so many twists that afternoon, it was sheer madness.

Scholes this may be the first time I completely disagree with you. Actually it isn't, but what i'm trying to say is I always respect your judgements as sound, considered and unbiased, but I'm sorry, even as a Manu fan who went through hell that afternoon, I cannot deny that the 4-1 has to be in that list of the exciting games of this season. It was a sensational result, which sent real shockwaves through the premierleague and announced for sure the arrival of Liverpool as genuine title contenders.

I cannot look upon it objectively.

If United needed a win I'd have added it in

The Premiership this season has lacked a star man. Last season had Ronaldo, the previous season had Ronaldo and Drogba, and the season before that had Lampard and the one before that Henry etc etc. In fact, I would suggest that no team has really been that convincing this year. Utd haven't been as good as they were last year, Arsenal have been limp, and Liverpool have only just started to awaken. Moreover, I feel that the CL has been a bit of a let down in terms of competition. Aside from each other and Barca, no foriegn teams have looked close to the English quartet, and consequently, most of the 'big ties' have been rather one sided affairs, offering little in the way of entertainment. Bring on 2009-2010.

Lol, that was a game of mistakes being capitalised on, not amazing football. Same without Chelsea - Liverpool. But yeah, for sheer drama, it should be up there.

Arsenal 2-1 United. Probably the best pure footballing game of the season. Great stuff.
