Hello and welcome to our seventh match-up in the Liquid Football World Football Draft. You know the drill by now, so let's crack on.

Voting
- Players must be judged solely on their performance from 1992 onwards!
- <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<You are voting for which team you believe is best, NOT which team would win a one-off game. Teams are judged on an individual basis. VOTE FOR THE BEST TEAM>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
- Please bear in mind that football matches are not won on paper, so when voting, many other factors should be considered.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I think you screwed up your formation Cockney?

Cantona off Kluivert is fine, but Seedorf should be in the midfield, in a less advanced position than Robinho.

Robinho is the weak link in Cockney's front six, and the position he's in doesn't help much either. For his next round I advise he reshuffles the midfield :D

Cockney's defence is very good though, but my vote goes to safc, though it's worth noting that Beardsley's best years were before 92 I think.

Winner.

I'd swap Robinho and Seedorf around quite simply, the formation is fine how it is as Seedorf played the LCM/LM role a lot.

As for the vote, well I'm not sure. It's a very tight one, but I think safc's defence edges it for me. The midfield's and strikeforces are very evenly contested, but I think safc's defence is quite a bit better, so my vote goes to safc.

I didn't want to mention Given in case you all thought I was being biased, but Kahn was top top class, probs the 3rd best keeper of this generation. In my eyes though keepers don't have that big an influence on the game. With the quality of most of the defences, and regarding how clinical most of the strikers are, the GK's wouldn't even have a save to make in the game. The defence would either break the attackers down or a shot would just fly in without a hope for the GK. Picking a top class GK ahead of a central player is a big mistake.

I agree, that's why I left it until last :)

I'd rather have world-beating midfielder/striker and a very good defender, than a world-beating defender and a very good midfielder/striker too.

Strikers are most important imo, hence why I went for my dream pairing up top. I picked Cafu next 'cos he was available and he is just incredible, but I'd place more important on a top CM and top CB's. There are so many midfielders available that they aren't a major priority, but you needed to get there very early to get the best.

Mackem. Too many average players in safc's team, plus I think that if Seedorf played in the middle for Makem his team would be excellent and stands a good chance of winning the tourno.
