I too vote for PsycoStu. Think his team is marginally better as a whole/ as a unit |

My vote goes to Roonaldo; I really like his front 6, and his defence is also top notch. |

Stu, because of a number of reasons such as Vieri being a good pick so late on and Dunga and Frings being a force to be reckoned with |

i voted for stu because his defence is just as strong imo and he has arguably a better keeper. dunga and frings provide defence stability for messi gascoigne and zola to express themselves, whilst having vieri gives him a target man that not only can challenge in the air but is also a prolific goal scorer your team is good attacking wise but you have overloaded on attacking players in midfield and any decent AM would exploit that |

For me it's got to be Roonaldo's team. Despite the talents of Messi and Gascoigne, I feel Stu's team lacks width as both Zola and Messi aren't really wingers; the former played more as an AMF and the latter prefers to cut inside, which would be where Gascoigne would operate. Roon's team, by contrast, has bags of width, and in Giggs, has one of the best wide playes of the generation. As far as defensive solidity goes, Stu's team seems to be more protected in the CM area, but one must not forget how valuable Davids was as a defensive player. The back 5 on each team is for me equally good. The real difference between these two teams is Rivaldo. This man was pure genius, and is often left out of the limelight due to the performances of his attacking contemporary, Ronaldo - who would leave any forward in his shadow. The presence of this truly special player, and Stu's lack of one, really marks roonaldo's team out from stu's. In Messi, Stu may have the makings of an equally special talent, but he perhaps lacks the necessary years for this game, so right now, roonaldo gets my vote. My fullbacks are both very attacking and would help to provide width. |

Yh I was thinking that would happen too. But that could leave your team open to counter attacks. You could just put Messi actually on the wing, and, although you'd lose some of his intelligence in the middle, you could still utilise his quick feet. |

Im not too worried about my defence tbh. I have the best keeper in the game and two of the best CB around who between them have everything a CB pairing would need. I have two very intelligent DM's, one of which was hugely athletic. Both my fullbacks have bags of pace too. This team is set up to counter attack. Maybe i should have mentioned that. Im not bothered by the percieved lack of a special player as my team works as a unit. Even still, Vieri was an unbelievable striker and underrated by most. Messi may not have longevity but is already the best in the world. Zola was a magician, an absolute legend. And Gazza was an iconic figure that could do anything with a ball. |

Roonaldo for me. Seems a more balanced team and able to soak up pressure whilst having quality attacking players. |

Whats Davids then window dressing? Stus keeper is better than mine, there is nothing in the cb pairings but my full backs are better, imo my midfield is slightly better and mt strikeforce is definately better |

I'm going with Stu. Really tight this one, both teams are very good. But i think he's got a proper target man who could lead the line well in Vieri, and Gazza, Zola and Messi would feed off him with relish. With Dunga and Frings sitting behind breaking up play and protecting the strong back 4 and keeper, that would be a very tough team to break down. Even if his wide men wouldn't provide much protection for the full backs, he's got Terry who would handle the crosses coming in very well. Nice one Stu!

Lets be honest gazza never really lived up to his promise, how much would messi and zola get in each others way? Also his team has no width |

Only problem with your's Roonaldo was that Luis Enrique was not a central midfielder, he was either a RW or an out and out forward. Still, that was made up for by your 5 Barca players including a Rivaldo / Eto'o combination that I could wank all day over.
