With a heady mix of star quality and Liam Lawrence, setanta.com presents its Team of the Week.

Below are the 11 players as chosen by our reporters. Use the comments box at the bottom of the page to let us know your thoughts and opinions.

Goalkeeper: Dean Kiely - West Bromwich Albion
Match-winning plaudits were last bestowed upon Dean Kiely in approximately 2002, but he did a very good impression of a capable goalkeeper at The Hawthorns against Wigan. Ironically, it's a perception that continues to elude regular number one, Scott Carson.

Right back: Gretar Steinsson - Bolton Wanderers
A surprisingly regular inclusion in the Team of the Week, Steinsson has proven himself to be a very astute addition to his squad by Gary Megson.

Centre back: Martin Skrtel - Liverpool
With Jamie Carragher in uncharacteristically sloppy form, Liverpool required Skrtel to be on his mettle at West Ham and the Slovakian did not disappoint.

Centre back: Brede Hangeland - Fulham
Rumour has it that Arsenal's defence is a bit dodgy and that they would quite like Brede Hangeland to steady things. Judging by the Norwegian's performance against Aston Villa, Arsene Wenger's eye for a player is not faltering.

Left back: Ashley Cole - Chelsea
There is an almost innate reluctance to say complimentary things about Ashley Cole and we're as guilty as anyone, but the Chelsea left back is in good form at the moment and combated the threat of Theo Walcott at Arsenal on Sunday.

Right midfield: Cristiano Ronaldo - Manchester United
Fergie put a premature stop to 'Ronaldo Time' on Sunday but what really left the pouting Portuguese shaking his head incessantly was the suggestion by setanta.com that Liam Lawrence was in direct competition with him for the right-sided role.

Central midfield: Liam Lawrence - Stoke
Incredibly, we just had to find a place for Liam Lawrence in this week's team. Witness the unerring accuracy with which he found the top corner of Boaz Myhill's goal against Hull. Dare we say it was Ronaldo-esque!

Central midfield: Steven Gerrard - Liverpool
Scored a goal after barely a minute at West Ham on Saturday and then converted a penalty, albeit at the second time of asking. Stevie G also became very well acquainted with every blade of grass at Upton Park.

Left midfield: Florent Malouda - Chelsea
The Frenchman is once more back en vogue, which is surely a lot more than can be said for his hairstyle which looks rather like what our continental cousins would call a preservatif.

Forward: Diomansy Kamara - Fulham
Are two years of trying, it all came together for Diomansy Kamara against Aston Villa. A constant menace to the opposition backline, Kamara scored twice. Just don't expect the same thing next week.

Forward: Carlos Tevez - Manchester United
The other half of United's 'Strop Idols', Tevez let his football do the talking against Manchester City. Scored a goal and ran around a lot - a typical day at the office for the Argentine.

Ronaldo shouldn't get in ahead of Park so God knows why he's in there...

Anelka for Tevez too.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
