Liverpool are better than United in my books. Plus Liverpool fans tend not to be as smug as United when they win.

is that right, liverpool dispite winning more has always been wnd to united, even liverpool legends of the past say that one thing that always upset them was, despite everything they won, united were always the biggest club, and now we're almost level in the trophy stakes too, liverpool think they are big, but max 40.000 crowds throughout their history, tells the true story

I bet in the old days when there was no seating there was like 70,000 Liverpool fans and that does not prove anything to me anyway. I bet they didnt say that and if they did well then they are mugs then.

hanson, lawrenson and others all said that, the only time liverpool play in front of 70.000 is when they visit a truely big club, united, real, barca, bayerrn, and remember they may have won a fair bit but so have ajax and benfica

Hanson= Scotiish Lawrenson= Welsh

Both of these guys are always critical of Liverpool and are always so lovey duffy when it comes to Man Utd.

Man Utd only had 45,000 or something smaller even when Fergie arrived so how the blazers does that make Man Utd a bigger club? Highbury only had 38,500 but doesnt mean anything to me.

Diego knows his stuff...

Liverpool is a step down...United are as good as they've ever been and are close to a third successive title, which is a remarkable achievement if it happens.

Also, United fans smug?

United fans deal with victory very well. We obviously bask in our glory but we're not twats about it. From my experience the Gooners are the worst :thumbsup:

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Its only United fans who think its a step down... what a suprise. Your about the same, manyou win on rcent history but Liverpool have a better history and i prefer there fans even though i dont like scousers. Hardly any united fans are from Manchester anyway, AND liverpool play better football.

Winner.

The Liverpool fans are the nicest fans in the premierleague because I have been to Anfield twice and they are always so bubbly and so friendly.
