It's been a remarkable season for them really. Around October/November time, they were living the dream, and somehow racked up 7 or so wins in absolutely no time, and looked certain for at least a midtable finish.

I'd love to watch MOTD from October and listen to some of the comments made about Hull were safe so early...I'll hold my hands up and admit I discounted them out of the relegation dogfight after 10-12 games...

Did anyone see them in the relegation zone with 2 games remaining when they were ahead of Arsenal? Let's just hope United don't need to win at Hull on the final day :tremble:

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Since Phil Brown made a schoolboy error at City there was only going to be one result imo.

It's crazy how 2 sided their season has been. I completely ruled them out of the relegation fight before their plummet. Completely thought they were safe.

I was thinking earlier btw...imagine Hull need to win to have any chance of staying up instead of Newcastle and United win the title against Arsenal. I worry we may play a hugely weakened side against Hull to prevent any injuries before the CL final. If Hull need to win against us and we play a weakened team we could get Newcastle relegated :(

I'm not worrying about playing a weakened side against Hull, as that would mean a third successive title :D

But if we do, hopefully, win the title against Arsenal, which might be important, United will be professional.

Newcastle's remaining two games?

Hull's are Bolton (A), United (H).

I really did thought Hull were going to finish at least in the top 10 because lets put it this way folks HULL CITY HAD THE SAME AMOUNT OF POINTS AS ARSENAL AT CHRISTMAS TIME but since then they have only won 1 league match and have picked up something ridiculous like 7 points out of a possible 60.

I'd hate to see Hull go down, but at the same time - them staying up could mean Sunderland going down, which is always a bad thing in my books.
I really hope the snatch a point from somewhere though as I don't see Newcastle getting a point in any of their last two games.
Hull just look too.. edgey at the moment as if they can't cope.. but look at the recent run west brom have had.. maybe it canbe done?

I'd like Hull to stay up, its our best chance of selling Fraizer Campbell for big money. :)

Just like most others, i expected Hull to stay up after their incredible start. I couldn't believe it when i saw what happened at half time against City. That was the turning point of their season. There is obvious problems between Giovanni and Brown too. I cant see them staying up now but football is a funny old game. Im hoping WBA win their next game (not just cos its against Liverpool) so that the final day of the season will be so enthralling.

Karma has bitten Hull in the ass because of Phil Brown being such a prick.
