Today outlined the fact that Chelsea are comfortably superior to Arsenal.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

There's a couple who shouldn't be playing for a top 4 club, but one that I can't go without mentioning is Bender. Even though he scored he is plain & simply awful.

Completely agree with that, except for the 'shouldn't be playing for a top 4 club'. 'Shouldn't be starting for a top 4 club' would be better imo, cos almost every one of their players' I'd be happy to have in the squad for united, especially as they're so young and with great potential, but Arsenal's problem is that these players are starting. The exception to that 'happy to have in the squad' is Bendtner. He is god awful AND he wears pink boots - unforgiveable unless you're the best player ever :greatpost: .

Diaby aint good enough either for me. Wouldn't want him at United...

Even Ade...he might have been class last season but he's been so poor every time i've seen him this season.

Bender is and OK player who wastes too many chances and isn't good enough for Arsenal.

Silvestre is poor now...

Toure aint what he used to be either.

Fabianski is naff.

So a few players i would not want at United...

Even Denilson i don't rate as highly as some people...but unlike Diaby i think he has potential.

Fabianski is better than Kuscak. Silvestre doesn't count - we just got rid of him! Touré would be a good experienced backup defender considering Rio's injury problems are increasingly frequent. Adebayor is an out and out striker we haven't had in AGES. Diaby could develope into the kind of physical presence which is alwasy useful. Let's be absolutely clear - I DON'T want these players, I'm just saying they're not out of place at a top four club, but people like Diaby cannot be starting for a top 4 club at this stage of their development.

They're not good enough to be starting for a title challenging club though. Chelsea taught Arsenal a lesson today to be fair.

The problem isn't our squad players, Bendtner was not the first time the person to give us a 'bit of a spark today. He's a useful player who for me is certainly worth keeping, as is Denilson. Diaby needs to go. Fabregas & Adebayor can sheep off, don't want to put the effort in then don't play for the club, that simple. Our problem isn't talent in the squad, it's the mentality, and that's led by the 2 players i've mentioned before, get rid of those 2, replace them with 2 players of similar quality but different mentality then you'll see the effects instantly. With the invinsibles the reason they had an almost god-like aura about them was because of there mentality just as much as it was because of there ability.

Bentner is one of the very few players in the squad who has character, keep him in and get them out

I would rather have Foster.

Toure...i would rather have Evans as back up like he is. And then we have O'Shea to fill in if needed too.

Adebayor might be the type of striker we haven't had but he's lazy and goes missing far too often. Might be the right TYPE of striker but he isn't good enough imo.

Diaby is a donkey.

Bender is an odd player. He actually does make a difference often when he comes on as a sub. He just wastes far far too many opportunities.

I too would rather have Foster, that's why I said 'is better than Kuscak'. Fabianski would be 3rd choice. I too would rather have Evans, but if Rio is injured loads, one more injury and yh we end up with O'Shea - Touré is better. I completely agree with the Adebayor comment. But it's all irrelevent speculation, I DON'T WANT THESE PPL, I'm just making a point! (which Scholes didn't seem to get :( )
