Look at Ronaldo sprint on the right, absolutely electric. I love seeing that sort of drive and willingness to gamble from midfield to get on the end of something.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Brilliant counter-attacking goal as well. Rooney's ball was amazing, only a footballing genius could spot a pass like that. Look at the position Ronaldo is in when Rooney made the pass, to time it and execute it that perfectly is incredibly difficult to do, just knowing that, he saw it before anybody else on the pitch could see it. Great finish from Ronaldo as well, especially considering he's off balance.

Ronaldo's was a better run than that after neat interchange with Park...

Anyway, Rooney's pass was indeed exellent. It didn't really look on but he put it in the most comfortable position for Ronaldo to strike it, without Almunia getting a sniff. Rooney is the best counter-attacker on the planet. He is amazing at every aspect of it.

Winner.
