MILAN officials have made a secret visit to Manchester City — fuelling speculation that a return bid to sign superstar Kaka is back on the agenda this summer.
The Italian giants sent a party of big guns to Eastlands over the past fortnight to meet City chief executive Garry Cook.

It is understood the talks were designed to repair bridges after the two parties fell out over City’s failed attempts to sign the Brazilian golden boy in January.

At the time Cook accused AC Milan of “bottling it” when City’s planned Ł100million swoop for the Samba ace collapsed.

Kaka is said to prefer a move to Real Madrid if he does leave Italy but City insiders are adamant he could end up in Manchester.

Neighbours United were also linked with a Ł75m raid but quickly distanced themselves from such a move as their main intent is hanging on to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Boss Alex Ferguson’s top two summer targets are Wigan winger Antonio Valencia and Lyon hotshot Karim Benzema.

Italian sources believe Milan are keen to keep the lines of communication open with City in case Kaka, 27, decides to quit the San Siro when the transfer window reopens.

I was and still am so gutted when Man City fucked up the deal but if there is any chance of reviving the deal then they must do absolutely everything in their power.

I hope the dream is back on, but unfortunately I don't think we'll get him this summer now.

You are 1pt behind West Ham with 3 games remaining and 2 of them are really hard.

Forget West Ham, though I'd like to see them do well, it's Spurs who will clinch 7th, with 2 wins from their remaining 3 games.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
