I think berbatov should go play in italy. And he certainly doesnt fit in the united team/ style of play.
Yes he does. It's just different to Tevez's. As a top class team, you need variety. I just think Tevez's style of play is more effective. But there is clearly a place for both.
It was the complete opposite two weeks ago. They'll be calling you DaGunners soon

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Yeah but IMO united are at their best when they are playing with that explosive attacking speed etc and it all just slows down an goes flat when hes there.
What like against Villa x2 :deepthought:

Yh, I would argue that too. But that wouldn't always be the case. Sometimes slowing the play down is more effective. Variety is the key.

As I said earlier Scholesy, 'I would have completely agreed with you a month or so ago'.

GET BEHIND THE BLOODY TEAM
I always do. I'm not the one constantly bringing the discussion up by searching for awful articles on the net. MU2DT is the guy never satisfied and if he had his way he'd probably celebrate Berbatov scoring an own goal on Tuesday, no joke :hysterics:

the only way to stop this non stop comparrisons is not to respond to them, anyone would think both are playing for rival clubs, i cheer on whoever wears the clubs colours, i like certain players more than others, but i get behind them all equally, and at this stage of the season all players will play a vital role, look at john o'shea's vital contribution last week, yet most wouldnt want him to have started, i hope you get my point

We were attrocious against Villa twice this season and Berbatov featured in neither if memory serves me correctly :deepthought:

Lol, I was just wondering where this opinion of yours has come from as it seems like an view generated from the general consensus created by others  You saw how lackluster we were against Villa both games this season; totally clueless in attack. Tevez played both, Berbatov played neither.

Its not like your a league one team or a shit PL side scholes. Your united - I watch them all the time. I just genuinely think tevez offers you more. Ideally you should scrap them both an get a proper striker

i have made my view on this clear on the other thread but imo its clear as day that when tevez plays united play better and are more of an attacking threat

if pushed i would agree that berbatov is a better player but tevez fits our style more and this benefits the team. also i would argue that a strikers ability to chase lost causes and put defenders under pressure is a great plus so i dont get the "he just runs around like a headless chicken" argument

p.s. his poor goal record in the league has to be put into context

They were merely examples of his ineffectiveness.
